  1. 2000 MG V11 Sport with F. by Feracci LED taillight... Everything was peachy for years until I drove home in the evening one night and realized the taillight, dashlights, and turn signals were not working. I am glad my son was trailing me on the freeway on his Yamaha R6 for obvious safety reasons -- really dangerous in heavy traffic! Can you say watch out for the crazies aiming for you? Fuses and wiring (cursory check) look fine. Brake lights, headlight, horn, starter, etc., all work fine. Any quick and / or easy fix? Tell me it's something like the #2 relay or similar easy / quick fix. I'm about ready to offer a cash reward for "get it fixed advice". Thanks guys!!!!
  2. I own a 2000 MG V11 Sport, and now have a CF starter motor cover and CF side covers, as well as M4 CF exhaust. I am looking to buy a CF front fender, preferably in the US. Agostini (Mandello del Lario, Italy) offers the following: Carbon Fiber Mudguard, Part No. 01434340, but the price is high due to the Euro / US Dollar exchange rate. Can anyone advise on where to get this part in the US, hopefully for fewer greenbacks? Hey, maybe this exchange rate thing is great for the US as a whole, but it is no fun for me. BTW, speedsports.com (Livermore, CA) no longer carries this part. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!!
  3. It is time to replace my stock pads, front and rear, on my 2000 MG V11 Sport. I am having some difficulty in finding Brembo or other fits. Any advice on best types and sources would be most appreciated. Scott; Minneapolis, MN
  4. I have a 2000 V11 Sport with a factory color matched green Magni fairing. My comments: 1) I like it a lot, and the riding position is perfect for me. 2) It was on the bike, but I did remove / install it when I recently replaced a broken speedo cable (a real pain!). 3) Feel free to email or phone Magni in Italy, as Giovanni is slow in responding, but a real nice guy who will personally answer your questions. 4) It is next to impossible to precisely adjust the fairing where it contacts the fuel tank near the edges. I tried to install rubber tubing, etc., to no avail, and now am searching for touch up paint to repair the scratched paint. Nothing really serious, but something to watch for. I did my best to use rubber spacers on the metal fairing mount that attacehs the fairing to the valve covers. 5) Overall -- get the Magi fairing, as it is really cool, deflects wind, and adds style to your MG.
  5. Does anyone have a source for touch up paint? I would like to repair some scrape damage on the undersides of the fuel tank where the Magni fairing has scraped off some surface paint. As anyone with a Magni fairing knows from experience, adjusting it perfectly to minimize tank contact is a real challenge, and considering engine vibration, the lack of care of the "original" installer, etc., whew... kind of a disappointing pain in the neck situation when you otherwise have a nick-free example of a really classy looking two-wheeler. And that got to be one long run-on sentence to boot, which parallels my frustration with the whole darn thing. Thanks!!java script:emoticon('',%20'smid_26')/Users/scotthag/Desktop/CIMG0615.jpg
