Hi - spring is here and lots of sand on the roads means trouble. I laid my 02 Lemans down and scuffed up the fairing pretty bad. Where is the best place to get touch up paint for the champagne/red color scheme. Mainly the red. The body shop is way too overpriced for essentailly a cosmetic problem. Lastly, brothers and sisters, wear good boots and leather. Road rash sucks. Thanks.

So I bought a 2002 Lemans at the beginning of summer. An amateur motorcycle enthusiast I didnt know much about MG other than they looked tough. Did lots of research and found a "pride of ownership" on this sight that was unique. These werent the latest, fastest, most expensive bikes around. I didnt understand it. So I found the bike on craigslist, flew to California and knew it was the right bike seconds after getting on it. I have owned it for six months, put three thousand miles on it, and loving it more and more each day. This bike rides, feels and sounds unlike anything I've ever ridden (albeit limited riding experience). I now understand it. Also, if you're into being seen, everyone looks.

so it ended up being a cracked rubber intake gasket from injector to head. fifteen dollars from the online parts place. thanks.

I just bought a 02 Lemans. When I went to insure the bike I gave them the VIN and they told me it was a Nero Corsa. Hmmm. I didnt think it was, but then I'm not exactly sure what a Nero Corsa is. Maybe a conspiracy?

Hi All. I am the proud new owner of a 2002 Lemans. I am convinced after two weeks that this is the finest motorcycle made, plus everyone checks you out. I was hoping to get some info on the noises. This bike makes some crazy noises, moans, hums, coughs. When I am in the city it occasionally coughs loudly, almost like a .22 being shot. It seems to be the left side as I feel a gush of air on my left leg. Is it missing a fire or needing new plugs or backfiring? The clutch is also noisy, when I engage it at a stop it sounds noisy, is this just what a dry clutch sounds like? Having a resource like this is awesome. Thanks, WMG
