  1. There is a kit now available for the Buell Uly, "rider comfort kit" I think they call it. Apparently it helps with the heat problem, and is adaptable to the older bikes. It is a heat shield, a fan duct, and a modified fan control logic, maybe other stuff? I've read good things about it, and it largely solves the heat problem I understand. But I wouldn't know, I ride a Norge. Which, by the way is a great choice for you with the obvious exception of the lack of dealers. I think the Norge is one of the most comfortable sport tourers out there, good wind protection, heated grips, great range (250+ mi.) and now avaiable for dirt cheap because it is a Guzzi and isn't "collectable". I frequent varous Guzzi sites, and really there don't appear to be many problems with the Norges. Mine has been super reliable over 20k miles, and I think that is the norm. The thing just runs!
  2. Sounds like me I'm afraid. I'm pretty sure I would need the bar risers to ride the bike more than 30 minutes without my hands going numb. Its a bummer, because other than that I LOVE the Nero. maybe I'll have to look for a Coppa.
  3. I looked at a Nero Corsa today and am considering buying it, but the ergos would need to be improved. I looked in the FAQ's and found this link; http://www.obairlann.net/reaper/motorcycle/guzzi/ergos/ These mods look good but, I can't find the Two Brothers Racing bar risers mentioned in the link and the footpeg mod is from a Centauro, so not exactly readily available. Any idea where I can the necessary parts, or other similar mods that I could do? I appreciate any ideas. Thanks!
  4. It's a 2004, which I believe is the only year the Nero was made? The seller, who is an aquaintance, isn't officially selling it (it is not listed for sale anywhere), but he has asked me if I'm interested in it. I am willing to give him a reasonable price. I don't want to rip him off, but I don't want to get ripped off either. Thus, I am wondering what a reasonable price might be. There aren't enough of these around for me to really judge that, and I'm not sure how they compare to other V11's value-wise.
  5. I'm looking at a used Nero Corsa, and had a couple of questions: Does anybody know how many Nero Corsa's were built, and/or how many were imported to the States? Also, opinions on what a pristine, virtually stock example with 2200 miles might be worth. Thanks!

    New here....

Hi all, This is my first post. I currently ride an 1977 Lemans and a 2007 Norge. A friend has a nice (only 1400 miles) Nero Corsa that I think he may decide to sell, and I have asked to be first in line if he does. I am not that familiar with the V11 bikes except to know that they are some of the best looking and sounding machines on the road! I have heard some misc. info such as "Tenni's and Scuras have single plate clutches", "Scura's have aluminum flywheels", that sort of thing. What I would like to know is what differentiates the varius V11 models. Also, what things should I look for on the Nero Corsa before buying it? What, if anything , should I be concerned about? Thanks in advance for your help!
