  1. Is there a lot of changes from the V11 Sport rocker assy to the newer 2 valve motors? What is the production quantity of the compatiable rocker assemblies that are still out there? Thanks

Sorry about the slow reply But a conversation with Weber and they seem to want to support the existing ECUs for Italian bikes This is a couple of PDFs from them I need to manage both ignition and fuel I have w wide band and a power commander and for what I am doing it isn't enough. Sent emails to Tune Boy with no reply I didn't see where the My ECU was capable of ignition mapping Still looking but have other problems with manufacturing my head gasket so, although I am not on hold, the wind is out of my sails now.. Hey Guys I am wondering if anyone has used the Magneti Marelli soft ware for the ECU They have responded to emails and have a race programable ECU I have not got an answer from tune boy and I am under a lot of pressure to finish this project. I need to control ignition timing and fuel map Thanks

Thanks Paul I had talked to the gentleman at Techno Research and he said that there was a problem with the Direct Link and that he would not be able to start selling them again until the first of this year. I was trying to find out what the glitch was and if the glitch affected me in what I am trying to do. Cheers

  8. Thanks for the links I was calling the old number from the Guzzi Tech page and got worried I have known Jerry Branch since the mid 80's and learned a lot about flow dynamics from him. Probably just enough to screw things up, but at any rate the ownership has changed and all you get is an answering machine.. I will keep trying.. I am just not sure if Mike would do the weld up to a bath tub style head. I would prefer that he does the heads but we will see.... Thanks again .. Cheers
  9. I need to get some heads done Basically I need to get the chamber welded up similar to a Branch head. Also I need the heads flowed with bigger valves...Any clues where I can get this done? 2000 V11 Sport Thanks in advance
  10. Two thing that may make life easier: The first is I had a hell of a time keeping the ring compressor on, among the towering studs. So I put the piston in the barrel while it was off the engine and slide the wrist pin half way through put the barrel back on slide the wrist pin home and installed the clip. It all went very easy in under 5 minutes. The second is to install the second plug if there was ever a reason it would be to help prevent detonation. Cheers
  11. I need them for another reason I am using the Guzzi as a test mule for United States Patent US7299785 I have done a base line with a Power Commander III, Stucchi crossover and Mistral slip-ons. Now the hard part I will first check apples to apples and do not expect much gain there. Then I will start off by retarding the timing, increasing compression and using lower octane. This will require modifying a set of heads to a bathtub chamber and a compression ration of 14:1 So the goal is to prove more torque by firing at +6* total advance, no detonation and a more complete burn. I may have to abandon the Power Commander III for a Direct-Link Performance Tuning Kit from Todd as I am left in the cold to retard the timing.. Cheers
  12. There is a set of heads on fleabay from a Le Mans III. Will they work on a V11 Sport? I read the reply from the seller but didn't understand valve overlap questions and such.. Cheers
