  1. I laid the bike (2001 V11 sport) down, damaging the front bottom portion of my almost new left side FBF carbon fiber low mount muffler. FBF only sells the mufflers in pairs (for around $800), so I bought a new pair, leaving me with a right side muffler in excellent shape with only about 500 miles on it. I'll sell it for $250 OBO, and send the left side out if you want. The damage on the left is somewhat heavy, but purely cosmetic. They sound great, and again are almost brand new. I can be reached at: tcwiggans@hotmail.com 916-218-2915
  2. E-mail response: Hi there Travis, I should advise to not use Gianelli exhauts on the v11. You can better use one of these: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/13456/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/15798/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/13457/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/13457/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/25025/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/14271/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/25649/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/13300/ or: http://www.tlm.nl/magazijn/webshop/details/14655/ Ciao, Michiel Kramer TEO LAMERS MOTOGUZZI Nijverheidsweg 26 6541CM Nijmegen T: +31-24-3711111 F: +31-24-3711110 WWW.TLM.NL I will try again to get a reply from Gianelli directly, but it looks like the FBF will be the best bet at this point, unless someone knows enough about Gianelli to advise.
  3. I have the Stucci crossover and the PCIII ready to install. After reading the forums, although many people have the Mistrals, I have decided to go with Gianelli for the silencers. After calling Fast By Ferracci, (Gianelli dealer in USA) I came to discover that the exhaust they offer for the v11 sport (where of very high quality) is not actually Gianelli, instead it is custom designed and made in the states. My search for Gianellis continues, but not one of the three distributors here in the states can tell me which model of Gianelli silencers will fit the 2001 v11 sport. If I knew this, I could have a distributor order the specific pipes for me. Does anyone know which Gianelli pipes will work with the 2001 v11 Sport? My alternative would be to go with the Ferracci customs, which allegedly sound like Thor. Please advise, and thanks in advance, Travis
  4. I found some cool solutions for a couple of my original posts: 1: http://www.cyclecolor.com/ has a great variety of newer Guzzi colors. They have brush-on touch-up and spray paints for DIY re-painting. 2: http://www.mgcycle.com/ has an excellent array of parts, including green color-matched windshield/farings for the V11. I'll update as I find out more. I'm still looking for the speedo (hopefully under $260) and the rear saddle cover in green (hopefully for under $275) I hope this can help some people looking for parts!
  5. I need some parts or referrals/advice for my 2001 V11 sport. I bought it used, and it needs a few parts to be up to par: 1: A speedometer 2: A Rear saddle cover (in Green), and applicable pads and hardware 3: Touch up paint for a few scuffs 4: A windscreen/faring (over the headlight kind), also green I'm willing to go for used parts in good condition, and salvage yards that may have these parts anywhere close to San Francisco (within 75 miles?) would work, too. Thanks in advance for any help.
