  1. Sure an error is always possible, but the dealer involved is probably the most technical efficient of France.

To be precise this is MotoBell who made the Daytona 142 hp that win french protwin championship in 1999, so not just a "simple" guzzi dealer.

Now as you told guzzi wrote the technical note like as*$^le

  2. I must correct he made 2 000 km since the recall have been done.

They were already damaged, engine was making noises on the left side 2 days before the recall have being done.

So for this guy this is the 2nd engine trouble in 4000 km.

  3. In France, a griso 8v owner who already have the recall done break down his engine jsut a few hundred kilometers later.

Big noise coming from the left of the engine and immediatly after rear wheel blocked. :(

Actually waiting to have more informations from his dealer.

  4. In fact you could bought all parts to made your V11 like Fionda / SuperTwin / Furia.

That is a first step, then put some light forge wheels and few other stuff to made your bike the leasnest possible.

I would like to have a v11 with Fionda kit, pvm or marvic wheels B)

  5. Supertwin : Pilot Power Race ( front : soft , rear : medium ) 120/60 180/55 - Crazy stuff could ride on the walls

Daytona RS : Pirelli Diablo Corsa 120/70 180/55

But as told the stock daytona ride like hell with the OEM 160 rear tire. If you have stock bike don"t need to go to 180 tire except for esthetical poser look :helmet: .

  6. snapp ...

Notice on the pictures, two mgs01, one with original engine, the other with the 2valve evo engine. The last one, its the one he raced in Daytona too, and has now uprated front forks, real superbike ohlins, with the billet brembo brakes.

Not sure at all it is a superbike fork, superbike fork should be a presurized one, either he get an "old" superbike fork like one of my supertwin.

I think it is more something like a japanese dedicated fork with 108 mm calipers like Yamaha R1 with the great Brembo billet calipers

    Any way  and :bier:

  7. I am yet to locate a bike for sale but am aiming for a RS, there is nothing available at momment here in UK. only the later versions with two valve fuel injection which i don't want. patience will eventually get me what i want. I hope

Ok so Daytona RS are from 1997 for first one to 2000 for the very last registred bikes.

If you wan't to fit a fork with radial brakes (most of time we fit ducati 999 or Aprilia RSV, paul fit Aprilia on his bike, i fit Ducati on mine :luigi: ) you will have to replace triple clamp,

if my mind is correct if you go for a v11 ohlins fork for exemple you will not have to do such changes.
