Unfortunately not, the mising is the Daytona RS 1225 not the supertwin.

Absolutely no news of the daytona and the insurrance give meback so few money it is unbelievable

  2. it is back , new aluminium handmade tank (13 -> 22 L), modificated exhaust, modified fuel system.

it is ready since nearly 2 weeks but i did not really ride as health trouble did not allow to. Now it is ok , so will ride tonight when temperature will be going down (it is actually 38° C :!: ) too hot to ride ...

  3. I have bought Michelin Pilot Power Race Soft Medium front & Medium for the rear to fit on SuperTwin.

They are street legal, similar ultra sport tyres than the Diablo Super Corsa

They will be on perhaps tomorrow or next week.

Will keep you in touch the feeling with them.

  4. :!: Hum nogbad , some times people said stupid things but you what French told you

WHAT THE F U C K SOME KIND OF WORDS ABOUT French people

If an accident happen everyone would have blame Michelin !

Now the FIA is responsible as Michelin.

USA are the country were safety must be before all except for F1 ?

  5. Hey guys, I grease my shaft regularly without removing the wheel.  Once you get the hang of it, it takes maybe 5 minutes for all fittings, including the front.  I bought the hinged fitting.  I think it was a Lubrimatic brand but I think I got it at Ace.  Its a fitting that simply hinges one way up and down.  Next, I fitted about a 6 inch pipe (nipple) into it and screwed on a coupling and male alemite grease fitting on the other end.

That is right for my daytona rs too but we talk here about the ghezzi&brian supertwin case which is a little different.

  6. For the Daytona RS this is : 308

Please had 8 heads for me

Only missing thing is the 100 or 101 mm cylinders for our big bores.

The centauro number seems not so high. I know so many centauro owners regarding the daytona owners i know.

Don't forget the Centauro Sport & Centauro GT.

  7. I know it says here and there that it has to be changed every 20.000 kms, especially if you're hammering the bike ;-).

What do you people reckon ?

On missing daytona rs with 1225 it has 29 500 km and was still good.

On daytona rs 1000 it has 40 000 km without problem and i am not friendly with it, always drive it in "sport mode" :helmet:

My own way to go : checking every 5000 km if it did not took too much "play" and greasing it well.

  8. To go in the same way than Paul like him i build 2 axle for 2 different fork in the2 years. :2c:

I am working actually on 2 new forks (both ohlins) for 2 different front wheels with 2 different wheel axle.

The most important, get the fork put it in the triple clamp.

Then you must check how fit the brake disc with the calipers & after only think about the spacers.

For example i was obliged to reduce the wheel hub of one wheel from 2.5 mm eache side to put the racing disc i get in stock :food::luigi: .

On the other fork like Paul on his daytona i need to made 2 support to put the disc more outside ... :homer:

    No bolt on with guzzi.

But yes with Paul we have a unique sickness and still no name found for this one :bier::P:thumbsup:

  9. again on the fender, I had a rsv mille R fender, that has the same mount. BEtter looks from my perspective, and it  does a better job keepping the bottom fork legs from debris. The thing is they are made by aftermarket companys, for less than half the price as oem.

I confirm and paid around 100 eur for a brand new one in carbon.

  10. what is so surprising ?

A guzzi could go much faster !

Miss Dayto was able to take a 260 km / h (162 mph) on the tacho that surely could make more than a real 240 km/h so about 150 mph.

Bu what is interesting with the guzzi is the torque :food:

  11. With what sort of paint?

    49791[/snapback]

In fact my grand father was the owner of an industrial painting company  and one of my uncle still working in so ...

But i didn't do the painting job by myself

  12. Hey goran

The problem is the same even with older production of the part.

When you get this V oilsump, you must do build your own oil hose <_>

Sorry to have forgotten to warm you about that.

  13. On the tire thread, I have a set of the Diablo Strada's on order, they should be in this week. I'll fill you in.

The diablo strada is the new model of what was the Dragon GTS

those are more touring than sport tires.

Perfect to fit guzzi for a normal way of use because bikes are a little heavy.

but for lighter bikes or sport rides you mut be carefull because it is not a sport tire , so longuest to be hot etc ...
