  1. Help! I installed 4 LCD turn signals on my 2000 V11 Sport, they will work with two installed on rear and orig. signals on front, but if I try to replace front signal(s), they will not flash. I suspect I require a resistor to make them work, anyone have any experience with this :( ?

i had the same problem with my 2004 V11 Le Mans . i removed the standard DENSO flasher relay and fitted a Jap one that is designed to run LED`s , now the four LED indicators flash like they should .

  2. The fuel light bulb needs to draw enough current to cause the thyrister to heat up when not covered by fuel so it may be worth looking at the bulb type used (it may be an LED).

the unit does use LED`s , however the neutral & high beam on it are working fine - jus the low fuel & oil light with issues .

i thin it`s time to call in a pro (cos it`s startin to do my head in) ............ ;)

  3. tacho`s sorted , thanks for the info .

i made a 2" plate , fitted it to the lower brake caliper fixing bolt and attached the sensor bracket included with the kit to it - it gave inconsistant reasings at first so i moved the sensor as close as possible to the disc bolts - works a treat .

i am using the units EOBD light as my low fuel level indicator , however neither that nor the oil light are coming on when the ignition is turned on (neutral light`s working fine) even though the oil light should and the fuel tank is almost empty !!!!!

    any clues ?

forgot to mention , LCD & neutral light are staying on when the ignition is turned off .....................

  4. How did you connect the tach? Spark plug wire or tach pulse connector?

I used tach pulse connector and works purrfectly. It is very tempting to use the "eye" to ground the signal wire. DON'T!

Correct setting is 2 Pistons, 2 Cycles, Hi Active (if I can recall correctly)

BTW, how did you mount the speed sensor?

  5. Cant help you with your problem , but mmaybe someone can help me with a related issue .

installed a KOSO RX2N console and all works fine except the tacho , it is not reading the rpm at all .

after selecting the correct stroke and cylinder number settings , there is a high or low option for the input signal - have tried both but still no rpm reading on the console .......

  6. hi guys . the speedometer counters packed up recently on my `04 V11 Le Mans so i decided to install a complete new console - a KOSO RX2N .

everything`s working fine with it except that the tacho isnt picking up the rpm . i have tried to install the wiring as per the KOSO unit`s instructions ,but in my opinion they are fairly vague .

anyone out there that has already fitted one of these units or can show me the way - it would be much appreciated . any info on calibrating the unit would also help .

    cheers
