  1. Thinking of selling my V11 Sport. See Craigslist add. http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/mcy/1315337291.html
  2. That's a good idea to wax them with a UV blocker. I'll start doing that. Thanks!
  3. +1 I have the FBF CF Slip Ons. They rock. Very deep throaty sound. A little loud, but I love it. I would like to have another set fabricated by them out of Aluminum down the road. I hear that CF breaks down with UV light. Other than that - nothing finer that I've heard so far.
  4. Did anyone here buy a guzzi for performance (weight or hp)? What's the big deal on weight? It passes anything I want on the street other than the freaks ready to loose their license. It stops great for the street. It sounds awesome anywhere. It handles just fine on the street. It has more character and that sexy sound - more than 95% of the bikes on the street. What more do we need? I don't get it. I thought this crowd was not programmed like the typical magazine infected, your not worth anything unless your bike is the most "fill in the blank here of your choice" folks.
  5. Pics would be great! Thanks for your time. Andy
  6. Very well written. I too have been longing to express this same feeling into words. I think you hit the nail on the head. I stopped purchasing the typical bike rag, and now start purchasing bike mags based more on typical riding, touring, etc. How fast can we really go on the streets? How much power is too much power for the street? I've actually become bored with the 150+ HP machines, its like having a loaded gun between your legs that can never be fully exercised. This frustrated me, and led me down the path of lower HP, simplistic machines, and a ton more of that missing feeling/relationship that you speak of above. Thank you for the well written comments.
  7. Puyallup, WA, 98372 Thanks for taking the time! Andy
  8. Previous owner took it off and never kept it. Put on this fender eliminator kit that uses the turn signals as run/stop/signals. I just don't think its enough brake light when running around in traffic - safety first you know.
  9. Hi all. I am looking for a rear fender and brake light for my 2003 V11. Does anyone have one out there they could spare or sell? Sorry I figured most folks look here. Thanks, Andy
