  1. Hi everyone, Need some help. I have a 2000 V11 sport that won't start. I just had the motor out to fix an oil leak which turned out to be the main bearing flange gasket. Anyways replaced all that and have the bike back together but it won't start. At first I realized I didn't have the hot lead from the battery to the starter connected. I connected it but it still won't start. This is what I've checked so far, The fuel pump is working, I hear it cycling and it sprays fuel with the line disconnected. The starter is still good. I verified by removing it and putting it on another of my Guzzi's and it cranked over just fine. Battery has over 13.5 volts Checked the clutch switch conncections I can hear the starter relay under the seat clicking. I also tried switching them with some of the other relays but no luck. All fuses are good. Kill switch seems to be working. I hear the fuel pump cycle when it's switched to the on postition. I've also tried holding the starter button in while toggling the kill switch off and on. The side stand switch has been disconnect and bypassed since I've had the bike, but checked it and it is still jumpered. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. The bike has a power commander on it. Would it have something to do with the battery being disconnected for several days? Matt
