Hi all, I'm new on here, been watching for a while and have just bought a Scura. Spoke to Belfast a couple of times. Nice helpfull fella.
Now I'm scared. I have been applying a thick coating of luuurv to my new toy as its been 'square wheeled' for about 3yrs (rode 100 miles home with 10psi in the front and oil pi$$ing all over me from the breather pipe) and was reassured, don't worry the clutch was replaced after grenading with a (proud sounding) single plate RAM. Now I have read this!! I was distressed enough with it sounding like a galloping horse on a tin roof at idle in neutral but have heard Ducrapi clutches sound not much better. How worried should I be? have many RAM replacements gone bang?

hi guys, sorry in advance as this i'm sure has been asked a thousand times before. I have had and enjoyed in the past a gpz900-thunderace-firestorm aprilia futura and also bought last year a cali EV which has sold me on guzzis. I may or may not sell the futura (they are a great sporty tourer) but for what i'd get for it I figure I may as well keep it for the faster touring hols. However the cali I find relaxing but a bit lacking in zip so I now can live no longer without a V11, was thinking of a sport 12 but the V11 just seems to have more soul,or am I talking crap? anyway, which one? and nothing too ferocious on the wrists. Thanks if you can help. mo

John is in great form, has a K75 which he is happy with. I think with the problems he had with the scura maybe he lost faith in using it. Why wouldn't he!! Also he has diverted his energies into building a most beautifull eco house. VERY impressed I was.
With regard to the Scura, I have allways had mechanical sympathy for everything I own ( I have no friends so nobody will rescue me ) The gearchange is as light as a feather, the best I have felt on any bike believe it or not. The clutch is slightly grabby but that might be me. One thing I have noticed when on a 'neutral'throttle, you know like rolling through bends when you are neither on nor off the power it tends to be very...lurchy? like a broken neon light is in charge of the throttle. is that normal? I am currently giving it a full nose to tail so that might improve things.
Incuded was a palm pilot thingy. I think I might be able to do things to the fueling with it, tho that would be a first for me and I would be very nervous of messing in that department.
