  2. These are the parts left over from my Sport streetfighter project. I also have the front brakes, master cylinder, front fender, rear subframe, front mirrors and turn signals, one has a small crack on the base. The parts are nice but not perfect, I can send detailed pics if interested. Parts are located in Northern California If you're interested , make an offer, I'm not looking for any trades right now though. new pics

If you would like to get rid of the magnet sensor on the front wheel you can use the S-4 sensor cable from Acewell. It fits on the transmission in place of the stock speedo cable. You may have to change the wiring plug but its only two wires. You may have to recalibrate the speedo ratio also, I did mine with the gps on my Iphone.
  4. Welcome to the Bay Area, I'm over in Richmond. There are many options to get your bike registered in CA. I'm guessing that you went to the DMV in SF and the inspector told you that you don't have the CA emission sticker and equipment required to bring it in to CA. I've heard that before and it's funny that they have been wrong every time. You don't have to use DMV to inspect your vehicle, the form can be filled out by CHP or a California licensed vin inspector. CHP doesn't charge but you usually have to make an appt. the private vin inspectors charge a fee and it can vary widely. You can also just bring the bike over the the east bay and use the DMV in El Cerrito or Walnut Creek, much easier to deal with. If you need any more info or help just let me know
  5. I fitted Oxford Sport Heaterz heated grips on my Griso a while back and its not that hard to do if you dont mind some basic wiring. They work great and were only $70 USD. The Guzzi ones were 3 times the price and as far as I could tell the Griso doesn't have the wiring from the factory for them anyway and no heat controller in the dash computer either You will have to trim off the plastic tabs off of the throttle sleeve after you take the stock grip off. I just used a razor blade in a holder to cut them off, also save yourself a bunch of hassle and use the razor blade to cut the throttle grip off because it doesn't slide off. I also put in a power distribution block hooked up to a relay to turn everything off when then the key turns off. Even though the Oxford grips will turn off on their own after the voltage drops below a certain point I would highly recommend using at least a turn off relay since that turn off voltage is lower than what the Griso will start at. Here's the page that explains how to make a power block on the cheap-DIY powerblock Or you can buy a really nice off the shelf one at fuzeblocks.com A pic of my wiring The other wiring on the block is for a heated clothing controller and TPMS display I also would recommend using a 2 part high temp epoxy to put the grips on and not the superglue that comes with the kit because the superglue only gives you one quick chance to put them on in the right position.
