On mine,(V11 Scura)front edge of stock silencer would ground.
If you've got the parts already just put it together & see. If looks aren't important you could ding the leading edge of the cans to get a bit of clearance, or mess with the pipes & hangers to gain a bit. Other than that & sidestand, clearance on Scura is pretty good but I dunno what ride height you will have. Depends on what shock & how you mount the forks as well. I lowered triple clamps a little to get weight forward & speed up steering. Are 1100S forks same length as V11?

Hi, I am building an extra bike for the circuit with parts that I have hanging around. I used the forks from a 1100 sport, frame from the V11, sub frame of the Centauro and exhaust system of the V11 le mans. But I have the idea that this is quite low? Isn’t the exhaust hitting the ground when you corner (especially on the circuit?)
Thanks,
Joep

Hi,
Looks interesting but if I understand it correctly it is checking with every start? So would it mean it is not really usefull during the winter storage?
Kind regards,

I have sent lots of parts overseas. I have always used TNT. No hassles, just bring it to the post office and shipping costs are online: http://www.tntpost.nl/voorthuis/images/IPP%20Kaart%202010_tcm213-513026.pdf
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Are there also tax/custom costs involved as far as you know?
Kind regards,

Hi,
Every now and than I see parts here or on Ebay that I find interesting but what stops me is the hassle with the transport. Has anyone experience with sending stuff to Europe or with receiving stuff from Europe (spec. Netherlands) and an idea of all the costs involved?
Thanks,
Joep

It's all in German. The last page has something to do with DOT and Metzler. I can't see what tires has anything to do with his tanks. Do custom tanks need to be DOT certified?
Hi,
Don't worry, it is about a recall of tires. It seems that this is an article from the german magazine MO.
