Thanks for the quick response! It's much more on the left side, but it's coating both sides. Your description of an origination point seems pretty close to where it appears to be originating...and while it LOOKS substatial, as we all know, a little oil looks like a lot when it's blowing around and coating stuff. I might shag the afternoon, pull the tank and have a look. I can't get it to run right anyway, so I suppose I need to just tear into on all fronts! Thanks again very much!

I was riding my new to me '02 Le Mans to work today and arrived with boots coated with oil and headers smoking from a leak. It looked kinda cool (if you're a sicko) but probably isn't supposed to do that. I would have waited to ask the question when I got home tonight...but it's substantial enough to ask on the board today in hoping for a little direction. It's got both sides of the engine case covered and it appears to be coming from the top of the motor... Any ideas? Anyone?

THAT'S what I'm looking for...WOW! A little higher than I expected..FWIW, a BMW RT has one of the better rated capacities at around 460 or so...the V11 smidge higher than that! Nice... I appreciate that info very much GuzziMoto!

No doubt! Hydraulic pre-load is absolutely a bonus! I do only a little two up stuff, I was just wondering what it would be...Generally, stock bikes are sprung light for me, but it's nothing a swap can't fix.

LOL! Yea, I know...what IS the GVWR? That's the number I'm looking for.

Howdy list! I'm getting aquainted a bit with Guzzi's just prior to delivery. I've spend many an hour ready through issues, problems fixes and mods. No different than any other brand, I'm quite sure. At any rate...this is a number that's sometimes tough to get: what the heck is the GVWR on a V11 LeMans, or better put including my fat butt, how fat a butt can ride along? Not worried as much about handling as I am about stressing sub frames and the like... Thanks for any insight!
