  1. coool!!

I actually decided to go with the Metzeler Z6's instead :)

Pirelli Diablo or Metzeler Z6 Roadtec= allmost the same thing. Both of them are made in the same factory with the same compound, with the same rubber, with the same machines, with the same workers, with the same money etc. The difference in the tyre is the profile. Maybe the handeling is different too. I don’t know, because I do not know nobody with those tyres on his bike (Z6).

I’m riding on the Diablo, and I love them!!! Next I will try the Avon Azaro 45/46 st.

  2. I had an ST2 once that cupped the front tires regularly. They were both Dunlop and Avon Azzurro(?). I called Avon and complained and they accused me of racing or running track days with it which was not true. Anyway my recently purchased LeMans has only 1800 miles now on the Bridgestone BT020 and the front tire is starting to cup already. Is this a suspension problem, balance or pressure problem, riding style or just a manfacturer problem. If its manufacturer problem thats OK because I don't plan on buying any more Bridgestones anyway. They don't seem to have much grip. I've had the backend slide out on me several times. At least thats better than the front letting go. BTW I appreciate the feedback from all you guys on the list. Thanx

I think it depends on the tire. The Bridgestone 010 always cupped on me. The Metzeler Sportec's raise the tread slightly but not as bad as the Bridgestone tires. This has been a common complaint of the early V11 series and the way you ride. :o .While all my Bridgestones have cupping, the Metzelers only show slight cupping. I believe this is due the tire design (chevron).

Does anybody have some esperiences with the Avon Azaro 45/46?

  3. Last Sunday I managed 353 kM (220 miles) on a tankfull, riding at higher than legal limits but watching out for the ticket writers.  :bike:

I was pleased with this result.

    The same for me.

I mean, once I did ride 360 km with 22 liter fuel. After that I was walking......... :(

  4. I took the seat off and heard a rattling sound. ...bla...bla..

A hint: grab the biggest hammer you have in house, close your eyes and HIT! HIT! HIT!

It will stop. The noise I mean. If it does not stop, stay HITTING!!!

Let me know the final result.

  5. Sorry guys, but I only can give you an answer today, because here in Holland is now daylight. :nl:

    I get the point!

The PCIII is an alternative. What about the ECU from Guzzi?

Why can you buy that thing and put it on you bike without adjustment.

Second them (Mother Guzzi) is this possible.

You get that right about the remapping the ECU. You need the bike to remap the ECU. ...But not in all circumstance....

Well, if you are interested I can sell you an original Racing ECU Guzzi from Mandello del Lario.

P.S. The H has two pipes with two different diameters.

  6. As first I have had a BT020, I will never buy this tire again!

As second a Michelin Pilot Road, Good tire but it never gets warm enough to make some decent curve (16.000km) never again.

As third (actually) Pirelli Diablo Street. Behind size 190. Great tire!!!

Next I am thinking about Avon Azaro ST AV45/46

Can you guys tell me about this tire???

    ciao

  7. The old Stucchi look likes the draw here under.

Probably you have now the cross like a X. That’s the Stucchi now in commerce.

I do not know witch of those two is better. I only know that the mine works well.

I have got the sound I always want and the performance of mine V11 is optimal.

    Just perfect!

About the PowercommanderIII. It is not good!!! Not Good!!! Listen to me!!!

PCIII can not determine the moment to inject the fuel on the heads. Like you said, the temperature of the ambient or the temperature of the engine (oil) has influence for the quantity of fuel to be injected in the heads. PCIII can not think! ECU Marelli can!

Is it for you a solution to send the ECU in Europe and let him remapping?

Try at Ruud Fedriks, Holland. Nice guy.

He did it to me! Piece of work!!!

  8. Does anybody think about writing Stucchi in place of Stucci???

    Damm……..!

And do ever and never forget the H again, got that!? :not:

I have got The Mistral on mine bike with STUCCHI (!), the old one, with two little pipes on it, K&N filter and a new mapping in mine ECU. Fantastic!

You really do not need another shit on your bike! It costs a lot of money for nothing.

If the original ECU will be mapping again, is the Powercommander a too expansive option for the motor management. The new ECU made and sold by Moto Guzzi is containing the mapping I ready have.

Why don´t you take a better look around you and find some mechanic :luigi: with the right tools, and do not spend too many money for getting the result you want.

  9. First, I gotta say how much I like the look of a Magni 1/4 fairing on the V11.

I looked at the Italian Magni website, and I have some questons...

    1. How much is that thing? $1500??? Ouch...

    2. Are the mirror holes already drilled in the fairing?

    3. Do I have to run their bars, or will my stock clip ons work?

    4. Pro's and Con's?

I'd love to get the fairing with no mirrors or bars, and for less than an arm and a leg...

Just take a look on the site of Theo Lammers, www.tlm.nl

On his site the Magni costs 1080,00- Euro

I don´t think the sending costs around 500 dollars!

  10. For a better mapping, you can try HTMoto nearby Aachen-Germany.

This guy is really good with mapping a original ECU Marelli. I think the price is about 300,- Euro. He has a testbank and your bike can be putted on it and you immediately can see the result of his work. Look at www.htmoto.de
