V11 Seat removal !

Hi all, as a new kid on this block excuse me if this one has already been sorted........I want to charge the battery but the seat refuses to lift. I place key in lock and turn but the seat refuses to budge. How can I get at the latch otherwise ?

V, mine has occassionaly stuck, but jiggling the key and seat has always worked it loose. Failing that, the latch mechanism works on a cable pull arrangement from the keylock...maybe you can get on it near the key and work a pulling force? k

Thanks Storm, as always it worked when I went back to it !.........basically there was a small piece of plastic caught in the latch mechanism. Now sorted.
