hey yall

i was trying to get the rear axle nut off my v11 to grease the u-joints

and i can't seem to get the axle nut loose, i pure lifted the rear of the bike up

trying to break it loose.

i hope the bearing have survived the incredable torque they have been under

is it normal for them to be this tight.

is there something i'm messing beside the big axle nut.

thanks

big jim

I would try heating the nut with a torch. It may have been assembled with loctite red. If that doesn't work, I would try even more heat. Be careful with the paint on the swing arm.

Good luck, I think you will get it off.

Cheers,

Steve
