Exhaust Pipe

Hi,

 

I have seen some folks that have done custom exhaust work but it seems that most have simply purchased after-market, Guzzi specific exhaust and cans. Has anyone had any luck, or how simple did you find it to have someone custom bend a new pipe that runs from the cross over to the factory can. Wouldn't this allow for a wider variety of options or will this cause other issues with the running or performance of our bike?

A can's a can and a pipe's a pipe, the bike doesn't care who's name is on them. The guzzi-specific ones just fit without fabrication. I used Honda RC-51 cans and pipes on my bike, and had to cut and expand the pipe to fit over the crossover. Joe
