Water in Trans

Had my bike in for output shaft seal replacement and.......... :homer: ........found a lot of water in the trans fluid. Since I don't ride in the rain it had to have come from the last time I cleaned the bike. The owner manual discusses several items to cover and not get wet, but I do not think it points out the breather for the trans case.

So. I highly recommend putting a piece of saran wrap around the braether with a rubber band if you clean the bike like I do (that means you anal retentive and wash the bike like your going to be showing it).
