Still in shock, after a 20 yr lay off I've bought a bike again, had a Lemon 111 then a 1000s way back along with jap stuff and British, recently looked at all sorts then saw a 2001 reg naked V11 sport on e-bay. Bloody Hell, that's gorgeous! thinks I, only a few hours to go and its miles away. 2 phone calls to the owner and some e-mailed pictures and I've taken the plunge, she's mine. Picking her up tomorow. Just got home on the new bike, I'm in love, 300 miles 2 up with the better half & smiling so hard my face hurts, The bikes a belter, 10,500 miles under her belt with old MOTs to confirm it's right. No oil leaks and the smoothest gear shift I've ever found on a Guzzi, Seat cowl included as well, I paid £2.6k which I'm well happy with and I'd forgot what a great feeling it was to just roll the throttle and watch the speed go illegal without dancing on the gear lever. The hook is well set, Wife's been taking piss all night cos apparently I kept turning round on the run up and laughing at her for no apparent reason! I saw one just like it for sale in the Moto Guzzi dealer in Stavanger Norway about the time that would have been on the showroom floor. I remember the dealer said " wanna see some pornograghy?
