handtius Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 Does anyone know if I can do a straight swap of forks from a 2002 to a 2001 v11 sport without changing the triple tree? gstallons said it should, but i'd like to get a definite before i decide to go through with it. They need to be Marzocchi, i know that. The tubes were measured at 54mm when I went to a shop that actually couldn't work on the bike. Also, i looked them up and it says that the 2001 are "40mm dual adjustable forks". Same for the 2002, but I just want to make sure, the length, the tube size...want to make sure it's a perfect fit without needing a new triple tree. Thanks everyone.
