Kiwi_Roy Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Because the head is at an angle it's hard to judge when you have the drill / tap square on, next time I do one I will try to figure out some sort of mandrill e.g. something like a block of metal that has been drilled square on a bench drill. Although in this case, since you have an existing hole that you are just enlarging the bit is going to follow it straight so long as you don't force it. Tape your bit so you don't go too deep.
