I love the flexibility because you can fit the pack rack, a normal type tail rack or just a grab bar depending on where/how you intend to ride. Change out takes less than a minute. It is a very well engineered product. The soft side bags in the photo are only used when camping. The Ventura bags hold more than enough for staying at hotels when touring.
