jknight611
Hi all, I know this may sound kinda silly, but what is the best way to seal the gas cap, My cap has a flat rubber seal and it leaks. I have dined around with a small o ring under the seal, still a wet crotch... Less than desirable!! Doesn't seem to be adjustable in any way. Any thoughts on a fix? doug m
A new seal would be best? But you could try a gasket in a tube(compatable with fuel type),such as permatex, sold at any auto store. Won;t be as easy to take apart again.
gstallons
You can fix all of your problems with an Oberon fuel cap. look for them on eBay .
jknight611
I emailed Oberon about a cap, he responded about the screw length, I am seriously considering that option. Kinda expensive route!! I really wouldn't mind just getting the greenish colored seal on the cap. Thanks guys Jay
gstallons
The part # om the o/s of the box is faded. The packing list with part #s is for an Aprillia/Triumph with a part # or DWG # 99743-
