If you really ride it hard, then it will be about 140 miles. That can be improved by remapping the ECU. Remapped my 8V with a Beetle map. Getting 45 mpg or so on highway. Made a large difference in the power curve, pulls from near 2,000 rpm all the way up without any flat spots. Torquey beast, gets up and goes. 1
