This may be as a result of the influence of one individual (Pietro diMarino) who has always been on hand. The VII Rosso Corsa was sourced from In Moto of Croydon, Sy. and this family dealership are just great - (let's hope that with Ducati's involvement ever more likely the individuality of M.G. will remain alongside Aprilia). jrt Posted July 22, 2004 Share Posted July 22, 2004 I've had a G5 (270,000miles), two Eldorados, and a V11sport (over the last 20 years) that I've put extensive miles on. The only one that ever gave me a 'real' problem was the G5 when it munched it's transmission. That little F-up was entirely my fault. So no, you are not an aberration. They are good bikes, and if kept reasonably maintained, they can go the distance. As Pete Roper calls them 'stone-ax simple'. It's tough to break a stoned ax.
