Guzzirider Posted September 25, 2005 Share Posted September 25, 2005 With 4 races left, Loris is now only 17 points behind Max who is in second place in the championship- I reckon Loris will catch him! Ducati won a double today at Donnington Park in the British Superbike Championship with Gregorio Lavilla taking both wins. He is now odds on to win the title at the final round at Brands Hatch. If so it will be Ducati's only championship win this year. Honda have invested millions is trying to win BSB but it looks as though they will fail. Rumour is that Lavilla will be a WSB rider for Ducati Corse next year- Tardozzi and all the factory top brass were there watching him today. Guzzirider Posted October 9, 2005 Share Posted October 9, 2005 Ducati scored a two 1st and second places today at Brands Hatch in BSB so Lavilla has won the title for them- their only championship win this year worldwide. Stuart Easton also won the Supersport race on a 749R. Honda threw millions at this years BSB and ran a full HRC factory team with Japanese technicians, the lot. There was a great shot on TV of the Honda team manager texting his bosses back in Japan to say they had lost! Good stuff too with Lanzi winning race 2 at Magny Cours on his 999.
