  1. I'm in the same shoes you are citimoto. First I was thinking of british racing green with a white racing strip, or just flat black with a red strip. Then I relized that the goose need to be red. So maybe wine berry red. then when I was at the shop a FJR1300 with the wine berry red with a metalic flake on it pulled up and that's as fare as I am right now. So if anyone has any pics of aftermarket paint job on guzzis, PLEASE POST!

  4. So being in the market for new exhaust (the stock one got beat up in the crash and I was going to get one anyway) I'm having a tough time deciding between the M4 and the Quat-ds. Since this thread's about the m4's would anyone happen to know how the two compair? Z

    In need

Looking for a set rims for V11. Could also use a right side fairing if you got one. Z
  7. That a damn shame. If you come across any let me know. As for now I'm going to try to get them trued at a local shop. Unfortunatly I'd need to remove the rotors and 5 of them stripped out. Man just can't get a brake. Z
  8. BTW . . . If you don't mind . . . I'm the safety manager for my company and I'm interested in what type of protective clothing you were wearing during your get off, and how well did it protect you. I had a Shift jacket on with a good set of riding glove, craftmans jeans and high top leather boots. In all I came out pritty well, a little bump on the knee, and on my ass cheek. Not bad really. Z
  9. well, it's looking like its just surfice damage. fairing and mounting are toast. Does anyone happen to know where they might sell new/used lemans fairing. I looked in the usuale places ( except Reboot) and haven't found anything yet. The right hand valve cover beaten but reusable after painting. The engine guard did it's job, will need a knew one. Also the instrament housing took a shot. it will need to go. The only major thing are the rims. Thier both bent. I'm sure I could get them straiten, but I wouldn't mind getting some new ones oem of other. all in all could have been a lot worse Z PS that's exactly what I was thinking Jaap
  10. Had a spill today. the road was wet and a light application of the front brake started to wash it out. I tryed to save it but it just bucked me off. After that it went across two lains of traffic and jumped the divid doin about 40 and landed on the right side of the bike. first look so far shows that I need new rims. the forks are strait but the fairing on the right side is FUBR along with the fairing mounts, tach housing and clip on. Thats realy all I can see for right now. I'll let you all know as I tair into it. Z
  11. You know, i've been looking at this bike and I think I've finally come a conclusion. Word from the dealers is that it's suppost to come to the states next year. I think I'm gonna trade off for one. The damn thing just gets better and better looking each time I see it.
  12. Last night I was asking about 1000cc heads. I was a bit drunk and forgot to mention they needed to be round fins. Thanks to everyone though for the squire fin offers. Ciao Z
  13. So I got out bidded on ebay and now I need help. I'm looking for a set of 1000cc heads. Cylinders would be cool too. But mainly I need the heads. any info as always is welcome.
  14. I was in sicily and the focks had been asking for pics. I had been following the front wheel around and pulled over for photo op. It was a really nice ride.
  15. Hmmmm, I think that is what happened rachet. Mine popped off in sicily and I wanted to be sure that it didn't do it again. Might of put it on to tight That sounds like a damn good idea slug. I've been thinkin about takin a break in summer. One of my boys at work is planning on taking a trip to laguna seca for the gp race and invited me along. I'll see if I could get a bit more time off and swing home. Z
  16. oh ya, their cracked. I've got a tair running pritty much right though the meat and potatos of the boot. I had been telling my self that I should grease them in some way for the last two years, but some how it just keep getting put off. Actually Slug, I moved to Phoenix two months ago for school. Its a chilly 50 degrees and I'm about to ride to class.
  17. Ya so my the rubber boots going from the throttle bodies to the manifold are giving up the ghost. Are there any better after market replacements for these things. The stock ones seem to be made from the same crappy rubber as the rest of the rubber bits. Z
  18. Hey aironepony. I doing the same thing you are for a guy that owns a 73 V7 sport. The bosch unit thats on thier is fine and could also probably be saved but over the years its be beating the crap out of the ring gear. Does the Valeo cure this? or is it just one of those things guzzi does?

    '07 Harley 1200

I think harleys just relising that in a few years thier market is going to die off and thier just looking for something new so they can be ready for it. Just look at the average harley buyer. They really need something that the next generation will be willing to buy. Now I'm no saying that this is it but I think its a step in the right direction.
  20. Oh ya, I like. but the question is, when do we get it in the states?
  21. I had a chance to stop by the bike show down here in phoenix today and two my surprise they had guzzi's all over the place. The show took place at the local stadium and was split up into three main areas: out side they had the jap bikes in the stands they had mainly the harley croud, sorry none of the pictures came out. then down on the floor was the european companies. It seemed like the pioggio group had a good sharing of the main floor. Thier display had the likely bikes, brevas, griso, califonia and right in the middle of them all was the norge. now i've been looking at pic of this bike for months but seeing it in person was different. really comfy to sit on ( actually it was identical to the breva 1100 ) anyhow, good show all around. here is a link if you want to check out the rest of the pics I got. http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o237/co...=3&start=20
  22. I'm fixing up a V7 sport right now so I'm a little bias.
