In Vancouver I have been riding since January. It is actually colder here now than when we had the winter olympics. There is lots of snow on the mountains now.
The thing I find funny about Guzzi V11 owners is that so many of you are almost the same as me! We are all mostly the same age range. I bet 45 is the average. We have mainly all owned a few Nortons or Triumphs before and maybe a Ducati or some other European bikes as well. Many of use still own a few other bikes. I think that most of us are in engineering or mechanical trades.
I think very few of us would have ever owned a Virago, or would even be seen riding one. Probalby none of us think Orange County Choppers are cool. Some of us might appreciate or own Harleys.
Most of us are pretty experienced riders. Most of us put on a fair number of miles.
This guy on the Red V11 looks almost exactly like me except my bike is a Red VII Lemans. Probably if he took his helmet off I would find out he looks a lot different than me, but maybe he is my doppleganger.

I'm 29, had my guzzi for 6 years and just a suzuki cruiser before that on the street. I'm not exactly the norm but I fit in with the older crowd a little better. I would like a harley but I don't feel I'm old enough, lately I've been thinking I am
this is me in my messy computer/smoking room that the kids stuck dino's on the wall

You will never part with that bike and you know it
I hate that you guys know me so well, I did list it at 6k tho, which is high, I would sell it for less to a board member.

I put the V11 on craigslist and shot high for price because I only half want to sell it half dont. I'd really like an american style Moto guzzi cruiser, I hope the 1400 cruiser is more than a myth. I would probably consider a nice Bassa, california, Breva, 1150r, or a k1200c all with bags, but I'd probably have to come up with some cash on the difference. I put victory for an option on the ad but at the same time I could really use to pay off my credit card and use the money going to that to pay off my student loans and my car. The worst part is I KNOW I'll miss her and regret it

I asked him about the Zud and showed him the link, he works with someone who knows and met Hubert, small world.

wait, was this thread supposed to be about the F1?

Cheers Ben! That looks a lot better than the snow shovel shots. Hang on, arent those exercise pants and runners? You pullin our legs or what?
THEY ARE exercise pants and runners, I only went around the neighborhood I know I should still wear full gear but was better dressed than most of the ppl I saw on bikes that day, I normally wear boots and at least jeans, KNEW someone would spot it and say something

and NO not just a MGMT ripoff, but I could see the connection there too. Their whole album is good.

ALL the snow is gone today, it rained all last week so I don't worry too much about the salt, still some sandy patches but I stay to the main drags and don't give it too much juice, it was a pleasure to have out, rode the Aprilia into work today, was nice too.

Brilliant clip, but terrible song, from italian born singer Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.
I love that she hates clothes, but WTF is this video, my god.
ALSO wait till you get a listen to "Free Energy" they are great and I'm sure going to blow up pretty big, used to be hockey night, they have a great sound. to me. http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Bang+Pop/2FpAA1
Phantogram is pretty interesting and worth a listen, there is just a TON of original music these days and I even hand it to Gaga even tho she is super mainstream her music is good and she is talented.

V11LeMans.com logo on the front (and maybe the Guzzi logo on the back. Depending on costs)
The NEW logo or the OLD logo? I like this new one infinitely better and it was embroidered I'd be a smitten kitten, don't even need anything on the back.

WHAT the hell is she wearing?
give the "Rural Alberta Advantage" a listen they are great or "the XX", two of my current favs.

about rachet "All people are born alike - except Republicans and Democrats" "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies"
about the avatar Creepy, I miss the old one now, also "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members" his quotes are 50 years old and still ring true today, a true genius.

87.42% of all motorcycles ever produced in the entire world had two wheels.
has to be higher than that, at least 91.425 sidehacks and those odd two up front one in the back cars couldn't have sold too much compared to everything else

90% of the population list themselves in the top 10% for being funny, did I make the cut?
-
A majority of African Americans trace their family roots beyond U.S. borders.
thats a generalization that is both true and false, its true, couldnt that be true of 95% of the population, why is it always about color, maybe an irishman can trace his back or me I can trace mine back to germany, but false most people don't trace their history.
-
All generalizations are false...
thats not true

the funny thing is, the bar that serves the most tullamore dew in all the world is right here in Minneapolis Minnesota USA, sad, I think they pour about 20 cases a week if I remember right, we got a huge irish loving contingency in MN, apparently everyone is irish in march
-
80% of the US population can qualify for a handicapped sticker/plate* (I wish I was joking)
I would also guess 3 out of 5 are fat, we're a buncha fatties. I blame the beer
*reason, you can list anxiety and/or stress and get one.

I want one of each, color depends on the embroidery color but most likely green red or heather
never go wrong with heather
I hope MG gets it together

don't care too much for 2 up, once in awhile around town but when I want to really go somewhere its solo, I get what youre saying too, I'm so torn. I want 3 bikes but the wife is already against 2, just tolerant of it. I've heard the 1200c cruisers are dogs but I'm in no hurry just comfort, sat on a few and I could see it being pretty comfy
