THAT would be awesome. Although I'd still rather have it under the aprilia badge even without much aftermarket support. I'm passivly looking for a futura right now. And was set on getting a BMW montana b4 I decided on guzzi. I'm happy with this bike so I have no regrets.

Ok I'll say something about this, I believe it is american, 2 stroke, water cooled of all things with a worm drive they called it back in the day. I've been trying to find more pics of it knowing what its called and that isn't easy, This was one rare bike.

How does martin know all this crap? he either has one heck of a motorcycle dictionary and just looks it up or he's one heck of a motor-head, maybe its both. OR if the truth is that he's a cop maybe he's pulled all of them over and just knows from experience. Woot we need a emoticon with police strobe.

Check this out. I totally thought this thing was fake. but there are even more photos AND A video. When they say "if at first you don't succed get a bigger hammer" well I don't think they make a sledge big enough for this guy.

EVEN so, I'd put in race fuel if I had to. The bike runs better and stronger. I tried using some "straight 90" pure fuel no additives at all for off-road and antique cars, WELL I got horrible gas milage and it seemed like it was running really rich. Can't explain it but I swear by the premo in any bike.

Always, I mean Always use the premium petrol, The tank doesn't hold enough to have a fit over it. Pay the extra your bike will thank you in the long run. I swear they get used to it. I loaned my old bike to my uncle who filled it up with plain and it ran like crap I thought it needed to be tuned, nope we ran out the crap gas filled it up with the premo again and it ran like a kitten. Only a two year old bike at the time not some old geezer. I've heard they have some better additives plus the octane in the primo. So go for it.

WAIT now I'm confused which models are most at risk here? should I be doing this protective measure or is it redundant on my bike. (crossedfingers) cause I am no good with electronics I could take apart a motor and put it back as long as someone else did the electronics for me, Maybe more that no one has showed me how to do it right and I'd had my fun with it and my RC hobby blown out a cervo or two. I'd RATHER not blow out an ECU!

Whatever good thing you didn't get pulled over he would have given you a ticket for at least 175. Like that kid from around here that was going 205 on a RC51. Cause it could happen.

From what I can gather he kicked the R1's @$$ in everything but the top of the powerband even better excelleration out of the turns and so on. I wish they were getting the 4v around. Come on guzzi someone let them know they can only go fwd by going backwards!

Yeah I wish. Maybe, MAYBE if it was street legal. But I'd have to free up some income for that especially with the dollar taking a swan dive.

Looking at your signature, Don't you have enough bikes already? I suppose if you have the means and its sunny arizona there is no such thing. But how do you find time to ride them all?

At $4hondo it better be a good headlamp. I think my headlamp works fine and looks nice is there maybe super bright super white bulb replacements for it instead of a costly HID conversion? maybe I'm just too lazy to keep researching and someone already has them.
BTW I checked out that Netherlands forum. I don't speak netherlandese but did you start that site also Jaap? Ifso cheers and you have wayy too much free time.

I also went for the looks, Plus it was hard enough to get the box out without any concerns, if I had to be nice and then modify it, agh. It sounds better now and looks nice street fighter bad @$$ lets say. Who cares if it doesn't do jack as long as you like it.

Well then I wish they were a little bit more affordable and where in ppl's minds as a good all-around bike to own like the good ole days I've heard about (b4 I was born) They would be able to expand instead of gasp for air. MG is my favorite bike second is aprilia my only problem is I could have 2 suzukis for the price of a sweet itialian.I just got to keep telling myself "you get what you pay for" and "If you can't afford to fix it then you can't afford to own it" which means don't break down you expensive peice of itialian sheet.
