  1. But if that nearby dealer (90 miles) gets out of the Guzzi biz, no support for my $12,000 bike. And newer owners are used to having more local support. So screw the older knowledgeable dealers at your peril MG. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a HD dealer, and so far they have treated me very well on the wifes' bike.

Hell if the local Yamaha dealer would have budged on his 05 Venture, I might be riding that instead of the LeMans.

I think I'm just pissy today, ride in was cold 40ish and the bike got 33 mpg on the last tank.

  2. So as I understand it, I should just go ahead and cross the Breva 1100 off the new bike list. Damn shame if that's the way they are treating their loyal dealers.

I'll just buy a Harley. That'll show em :bbblll:

  3. Hello,

I purchased the risers sold by Jean Marc. I added gel grips and Suzuki bar weights. It has made a world of difference over the stock setup. My hands used to go numb on my 30 mile commute. I experienced no numbness on last weekends 100 mile jaunt. Jean Marcs riser are very adjustable. The original position of the clip on's seemed to pinch something in my right hand. Now with the new risers no pinch is evident, and my thumb no longer falls asleep.

  4. Well I'm understanding the Harley's lately. We bought my wife an 07 1200 Sportster and the sales guys told me whatever I want to ride come on down. Thursday I took a 06 Street Glide out. I have to say it was a very nice ride. Comfy, not nearly as heavy feeling as I would think. If they would take my 03 LeMans on a trade I think I'd do it. I also rode a 06 Yamaha Royal Star Venture at another dealer. That bike has everything including the kitchen sink. Cruise control, radio, tour pack a really sweet smooth bike. That dealer will take the Guzzi on trade.

    Oh decisions, decisions..........

  5. Wow that's a hell of an offer. I've been playing with the idea of something new, or additional.

I'm a little pissed at the LeMans this morning. Running fine, but I got 33 MPG on the last tank. Mostly I-80 back and forth to work.

  6. I know there are some Breva 1100 riders on here. Ned's has a nice pretty black one and the wife wants something more comfortable for two-up riding. What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting? My LeMans gets around 35 and I always thought that was a little low for a bike. :mg:

    Thanks,

    Darryl
