Paul (Daytona) is infected,
this was just posted in the German Guzzi Forum by his daughter and by his spouse:
QuoteAs you are both very good friends of my father, I wanted to inform you about his current health situation. Since last Tuesday, Paul is recovering from Corona and an associated double lung infection on the intensive care. He has been stable ever since and is making slow progress. He is able to breath with minimal support by a ventilator and is now only in a shallow sleep instead of a deep coma. All in all, times are nerve wrecking for us as a family and we can only pray for a good ending to this nightmare. I'm sorry we haven't informed you and other friends earlier on. It would be of great help if you could pass on this information to other friends in Paul's community.
Get well soon Paul!

Yes ... a genius, the Profressor and it seems that he was a kind soul and a totally down-to-earth guy.
and today Geddy & Alex posted:
Our most heartfelt thanks go out to family, friends, musicians, writers and fans from around the globe for the incredible outpouring of love and respect for Neil since his passing. These touching tributes help to lessen the pain of this terrible loss and remind us all to celebrate his remarkable life and our connections to it. - Geddy & Alex

Unfortunately this did not solve the problem, even if I also have used a drill later.

A great summary of Pete! I did never regret that I have sold my V11 Rosso Corsa in favour of the 8V Griso.
Aside of the flat tappet story the built quality of the 8V Griso is better than the one of the V11.What I will never understand is that Piaggio dropped the CARC/8V bikes - this is such a stupid move.
They should exist next to the small block models. -
The Vespa/H-D image was a scene from the German "Tatort" (TV crime series)
