Hi, I've been quite taken with the MG LeMans, at least from what I've seen. I've ridden BMW's for about ten years, including a 1972 R75/5 which I adore, and my current daily ride, a 2004 R1150R with plenty of modifications for touring comfort. The R1150R is a flawless ride, and I have no complaints and no aggravation, complete and utter predictability. But I can't get it out of my head that riding can be more fun (my '72 Beemer is a constant thrill), and I'm pretty obsessed with the notion of owning a LeMans. Thing is, I haven't ridden one (and can't find one nearby to try out). Any former or current BMW riders care to offer a comparision? What should I look for in a used LeMans (I'm considering a 2003 or 2004 with under 10K miles)? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian in Vermont (bridge_press@yahoo.com)

Given the nature of this forum, I doubt anyone would be interested, but I have a 2004 BMW R1150R with many accessories (just over 8,000 miles) and I am strongly interested in a Moto Guzzi Le Mans. Trade possible for comparable Le Mans? I've ridden Beemers for 10 years but am looking at Guzzi's. Please advise. Thanks, Brian
