  1. After posting this amusing story with no political bent I can't belive the vitriol from our US Guzzi brothers. Guys get out of your country and travel the world. Foreigners are not bad people just remember your country's majority are from abroad, ie Europe, Africa and South America. Lighten up and get a life, as for leftist retoric, well I'm no leftist but that does not stop me having an opinion ALL POLITITICANS ARE ARSEWIPES!

  2. I will never understand the seemingly irresistible impulse to raise politics on a Guzzi board.

Even given the "no prohibition" here, as at other boards, e.g., wildguzzi, where such is ignored anyway, the end result is rancor, ill will, and divisiveness.  How does that serve us in Guzzidom?

I care about the past, present, and future; have strong political beliefs; vote; and discuss current events and politics with others.  I believe, however, that freedom of speech--that right of incalculable value--is best exercised with due regard to time, manner, and place.  For political commentary, this board is, IMO, none for those.

Don't get too upset Bill we are talking about a guy riding a bike, it's not political. If I had been being political I would have called the guy a dork(which of course would be accurate and again fairly unpolitical)

  3. I saw the Ducati efforts for the first time on Thursday, they are not very pretty in the flesh with very ugly silencers, if manufacturers want to produce replicas produce them not half assed design student lookalikes. It's the same with Guzzi and has been since the days of DeTomaso design was farmed out to Kitchen white goods designers. Why don't they ever ask motorcyclists to get involved we know what we want and how to design it.

  4. Last year we had the G8 conference here in Scotland, a story that came out at the time which was canned was that George Bush had had an accident while riding his mountain bike, he had run over a policeman (not the sleeping variety) What now comes out is that ol GB was trying to talk, wave and cycle all at once and could not avoid running the policeman over, well that his excuse. One would have thought that the leader of the mightiest power on earth could carry out at leat three bodily actions at the same time! Lets hope he was'nt thinking as well!

  5. Guy, I love England. The food isn't that great, but.........the road is good and the landscape too. UK is and stays and Island. I have to take the boat and that cost me too much. I know the boat is now cheaper than it was, but comparing it with some nice ride here in the Continent, I would save the money for a better goal.

Let say, I will think about it......... <_>

The food isn't too good I thought you Dutch guys loved chips, although we don't serve ours with mayo. You may also occasionally find pancakes.

  6. It occurs to me that is not the clutch that is fault here but the flywheel, the pictures I have seen so far all look the same the flywheel bolt holes and center parting company with the crank. Any thoughts welcome

  7. As I said...  our hockey challenged bretheren just can't handle the facts.  When's the last time your men OR women placed above us?  Oh yeah... we've won everything for a while now...

    Truth hurts, doesn't it Ben?
