Good news registry starting to build come on guys we need more, I've still got 588 to go!

    Happy shopping  :P

TLM is one of the best Guzzi agents in the world, Teo's isn't just a bike shop it's a way of life. He has helped me on many occassions with rare parts and hard to find stuff. Top man, top shop, if you are in Holland go visit him.

  3. I want to set up a register of Mk1 and Mk11 Scuras all you need to do is supply me with your Scura limited edition number, on the triple tree, and what country you live in. You can email me the information at macguzzi98@yahoo.com, this information will be held privately and will only be open to Scura owners. It is only so we know where these limited edition bikes ended up and how many where. Lets be honest how many are left! As you will see from my profile I am a Guzzi Nut and own a small collection of sports bikes, a 1972 V7 sport, 1975 S3, 1976 Le Mans Mk1. Lets get it together cause Guzzi won't!

  4. It's hard to say but I would assume it's a 1973 with that frame and engine number it will give you a date of manufacture on the VIN plate ie mine is December 1972 and the engine number is 300 before this one

Early sports ie the first 150 have VK 111150 as the maximum number but model spec's can vary depending on what Guzzi had to hand that day!

  5. Macguzzi, I see you have a 1972 V7 Sport. I wonder what your frame number might be for 1972? I saw a red framed Sport today. I dare say it's not a genuine early bike. I did note down the frame number. I couldn't make out everything, but I think I got the important bit: VK11979. Would that be around 1972, rather than '71? Maybe it's even '73? I've also written down, 30671. That must have been on the engine.

  6. I'm checking out Z Custom Leathers right now - by the way, check out the Kushitani with white striping on page 27 of the new July Cycle Word magazine! I can't tell you how incredible that jacket felt!

Check out transatlantic or aero leathers based in Scotland these guys make excellent leather jackets, apart from very heavy steerhide, they only use Alaskan hide, it's thicker they also do horsehide. For you US guys they do a whole range of retro Police and Military jackets. I have had one of their steerhide jackets for fifteen years and it still stands up on it's own. Checkout their wb site they often have offers on. The leather jeans they do are fantastic just like Lewis Leathers circa 1968.
