    TENNI REGISTRY

I am still trying to find the number of my Tenni, when I brought it the plate was missing and the original dealer who sold it from new has no record of it's number. I guess as my bike was purchased new in Scotland the plate number is either 114, 116 0r 166. Was it ever discovered if MG tracked the plate numbers against the frame/engine number? Thanks Rick
  2. Thanks for your replies, it is nice to know I am not about to experience a major failure. I have tried the clutch in and out trick and it works, good to have a choice of noise. Thanks again Rick
  3. I have a 2002 V11 Tenni. It runs ok and the engine is nice and quiet. There is a garbox rattle at tick over, this noise dissapears when the clutch is pulled in. My question is, do I have a problem or is it a case of "they all do that sir!!" Thanks Rick
  4. Reading through a workshop manual for the V11 sport there was a large amount of documentation about the Texa axone 2000, this is a very expensive tool (for tool read toy!!). I was thinking is there a similar programme that can be run on a laptop and can the lap top be hooked up to the "black box" to help tune the bike? It would be a good tool to have around the garage Rick
  5. Hi can you tell me where you found the English version, so far I have got it in 5 languages, none of which are English!! Rick
  6. Hi Giovanni Thanks for the photo, now I know what I need to try to get made. The search for a replacement or an engraving shop now starts!! If anyone does find a number I would be very grateful of the info. Thanks again Rick
  7. Does anybody have the part number of the top yoke Tenni ID plate, the one with the unique number. Or failing that can someone give me a photo of one so I can make a new one? Someone has removed the one off my bike Thanks Rick
  8. An update on the progress of the repairs. All damaged items have been sourced from Motamecca and ebay, right hand exhaust has been repaired, looks ok.........from a distance, fairing repaired and painted, not too happy with the colour match but it will do until I get round to getting some more paint. Cylinder head damage was not too bad, managed to get the allen screw out and the threaded hole was ok, cylinder protection plate did it's job!! Rocker cover repaired and repainted. Next month it goes back on the road, total cost of repairs so far 167GBP. Only thing to do now is to find out the number and make up a new plate. Can any one send me a photo of the tenni plate on the headstock? Will post photo's next month. Rick
  9. Yes But...................Can they match Tenni Green???
  10. I am still trying to match the green paint on my Guzzi Fairing, I have been to a few paint mixers but I have no confidence that they can match it exactly. I have been told that the paint is a BASF code 714030401. BASF is sold under the glasurit name in the UK. My question to the forum is, does anyone know the exact moto guzzi name for the green paint, the Glasurit website names a colour Verde Mica Met, Is this the one?? Thanks for your help. Rick

    TENNI REGISTRY

Is it possible to get the Tenni number from the frame number, ie do you know if MG have a database or were the unique numbers put on randomly? I have a tenni but someone has removed the plate so I do not know it,s number:(

    calling all Tenni's

Are Tenni frame numbers in a batch or are they all random? Did MG take 170 frames and build 170 Tenni's or did they build them as and when they got round to it? Rick
  13. Anton/Giovanni Thank you very much for the info. Just what I wanted. Rick
  14. Does anyone know the part number (official MG) for the riders RH foot rest for a v11 tenni. Also can anyone point me in the right direction for a parts book (if they exist) for the tenni, download from the net if possible. Thanks
