  1. Hi!

I've found a bagster leather tank protector, made for the 1100 sport. I am thinking of buying it. But I don't know which bagster tank bag is suitable with the 1100 sport bagster tank protector.

    Have you any ideas?

Have you any thoughts of where to search for?

  2. Bought on 2006, the ABS version, with heated grips, panniers, top box, tank bag, rear fender, Hepco&Becker crash protectors, RapidBike with ready-made map, BMC airfilter (stock mufflers and x-over).

in the pics the bigger Eagle Screen Australia screen is shown. At present this is removed, and stock screen is mounted back, due to "I like minimal screens again" thoughts..

  3. Nice, and does it feel different with the clipons and ohins?

The riding position is much improved! This is the right one! The bike has been transformed.

As far as the Ohlins, I have high expectations now ;) I reset it to factory settings and I will start experiments...I am looking forward in going on track!

  4. Sporty. Looks neat, clean and it all works well as a package. Good job. Can you add a link to the thread where you described what all you did?

I can't find the previous thread, could it be deleted?

Nevermind, here is what I did:

After the crash I decided not to remake it a LeMans but to alter it a bit.

    So:

Red paint, a little darker with central white stripe, form fairing till back. Bilaterally is a thinner white stripe.

The small fairing is a Stucchi Luigi.

The oil pan, painted the same red, is also a Stucchi Luigi.

The front fender is from Aprilia RSV Mille, painted same red. (so as to fit the Ohlins forks)

The valve covers are the "GUZZI" ones, bought from America.

The clipons are woodcraft and mounted under the upper triple tree. The position now is far much better! In fact, I believe that this is the correct riding position.

The rear light is a Rossopuro (cateye)

    Ohlins forks and rear shock

    Wheels painted black mat.

Also the rear fender is painted black mat.

    The mufflers are Mistral titanium

    The crossover is a Mistral

a FBF air lid is added to the airbox

    BMC airfilter

PCIII usb with map from RacerX (a little bit had to be altered)

Future plan: win the lotto, resign from job, go to Germany for one month, visit Dynotec....and.... ;)

I want to thank Slavomir Musilek and Paul Minnaert for their contribution to the completion of the motorbike.

  5. My vote was I don't care. After thinking about it, it is a good idea. Any of these different bikes with characteristics exclusive to them, the owners would be able to have their own area for discussion. Also they could disuss modifications and accessories for their bikes, e.g Griso, Norge, Breva, etc...

    +100

  6. dont choose only from desing! You have to try on your head. AGV fits to slimmer faces (despite this fact, I have AGV Ti Tech and it fits just right).

after having Uvex, Shark, AGV... I'd go again for AGV (do you know most of AGV helmets are produced in CZ?)

No I didn't know that AGVs are produced in CZ!

I like AGV Ago but the bad thing is that I tried once an AGV but it didn't fit me right. My face is not so slim, it's more...rounded..

I finally bought a Vemar (VSREV) which fits me super! Like when they were making it, they had chosen my head as a base.

But I want a change. After the crash the Vemar Helmet was hit so it's time for a change.

Suomy gives me also a good fit.

    I've never tried the Xlite....
