  1. Hi Claudio I have contacted agos but they dont sell the stucchi, i have been thinking about the problem of the offset exhaust on the bike and i may get a G&B Furio type under gearbox exhaust i have emailed agos and a local G&B dealer to find out the price.Have you beeen happy with your choice of exhaust what about the right silencer sticking out further on the standard bike, does your engine sometimes stall. Regards Martin
  2. Hi I have Tenni 165 bought for £5795 new ,absolute steal .It came with 2 seats i use the ARTIFICIAL SUADE seat when its not raining.Love the bike done 1000 miles in 4 weeks only problem has been the cutting out at idle [happened twice on roundabouts the other day very close call].It looks much better in the flesh than in pictures although i am not sure how long the crinkle black paint is going to last. Regards Martin Fareham England UK
  3. Hi Claudio thanks for the info i have used them before and got my mistral silencers on my centauro from them and assumed they only did the mistral items i am now corrected thanks again. Cheers Martin

  5. Hi All Im 42 live in Fareham which is on the south coast of England with my girlfriend who rides a BMW Scarver. I did 14 years in the army [REME] fixing tanks and apc.Now i fix cars and bikes broken down on the roadside for the AA[automobile association]. First bike was a yonda cb72 which i rode [illegaly] at 14. Pasted my bike test on a moped i borrowed in Belfast , on returning to my base in Germany i bought my first real bike a Lemans111, great bike had for 7 years then decided to try a change so bought a Yamaha fzr 1000 exup fast bike but crap gearchange and clutch though a very secure handler. Then bought a 1200 bandit which i rode for 3 months[yawn] then i found a small Guzzi/Ducati dealer in Alton and accepted the offer of a test ride on a Centauro, loved every minute so bought the bike. I had a low speed crash on the Centauro and the mechanical repairs done by the dealer where done incompetetantly and the bike was never right again. Luckily a friend who has a Scura told me that our local dealer had a Tenni that had been sitting in the showroom for quite a while and the price had dropped to £5795 so i bought it and i love it and hope i can keep it the right way up. Regards all thx Martin
  6. Hi all I have been reading all the bullatins on this great site and having decided that the first thing to change on my Tenni is the collecter the advice seems to be mostly in favour of the Stucchi xover but ive tried Wessons and motomecca here in England but they dont sell them where can i buy one from preferably in UK but if cheaper elsewhere[almost inevetable]and for how much. A second hand one would be ok. Thanks regards Martin
  7. Hi all I fitted Mistral oval carbons on my centauro got them from agostinis cost with eprom chip aprox £350 they fitted fine they looked good sounded not too loud and although i didnt get a dyno check it seemed real fast. When the warranty runs out on my Tenni i will get another pair because they are good enough quality at a very reasonable price.I bought a xover from raceco ,cost a ridiculous price and it became realy badly discoloured real quick so the over the top price doesnt always mean great quality. Regards Martin
  8. Hi In the book that came with my Tenni it says the spring preload range is between 8-14mm,i suggest setting the preload to 14mm and you may find that works better without luggage to so you wont have to reset it after.I did this on my centauro[cos i weigh 15 stone] and was well pleased never changed the spring or shock. Regards Martin
  9. Hi All Ive just seen the pics of Marks bike, wow it looks total class. The tailpiece is absolutely perfect .The g&b exhaust could possibly do with a colour change but it makes the rear end of the bike look uniquely uncluttered.Congrats on a great looking V11. Regards Martin[Martenni]
  10. Hi Rob I partexed my centauro for a new Tenni a couple of weeks ago and i definitly made the right decision. The Tenni may not be faster but it steers and handles better and the riding position is more comfortable, also the fairing works very well,i cruised to Devon at 90mph in comfort a few days ago and enjoyed the trip more than when i rode the centauro. My centauro had started to corrode on the valve covers and the diff was leaking[new seal lasted 5 months] and i wasnt realy happy with the engine having cam belts i changed them at 9000 miles they were so loose that i was getting an exhaust resonence. My dad has a realy low mileage as new centauro sport in red which i will buy off him and keep at a later date,if you can afford to keep your centauro and buy a new V11 then go for im sure you wont regret it. Regards Martin[Martenni] PS sorry forgot to mention the clutch is much lighter and the gearbox is as good as any of my previous jap bikes and quiet too[a lot better than the centauro]
  11. Hi On the subject of ecu eprom etc i have had a bit experience with my centauro. When i first got the bike it would stall often flat spot mid range and generaly run as though strangled,so i removed the plugs to see how the mixture was[it seemed as though it was fluffing :!: ],sure enough black sooted plugs so i cleaned plugs several times over next couple of months then decided to phone Agostinis.I was told that the programing of the stock eprom was designed to get motor through noise and emisions and it seems as though it had to over richen the mixture to make the engine stumble through the noise test.Answer was an eprom that Agostini provided that that made the engine run as well as it should have all along by ignoring noise emissions etc no more stalling and it sounded a lot better.I have had a quick look under the seat of my new Tenni and i see that the new ecu is much smaller and there is no way of changing the eprom which is why as soon as my bike is out of warranty it will get a xover and a pc. Happy riding Martin
  12. Hi All First off great site so much info, best guzzi site ive seen. I just got myself a new tenni rode it over the weekend done 194 miles at 41mpg .LOVED EVERY MOMENT.My last bike was a centauro i fitted xover mistral round carbons and the eprom chip that works with the cans i got it all from Agostinos in Italy i paid by card and recieved items in 4 days. The cans and chip cam to about £380 which was much cheaper than any cans available in this country[uK] and they sounded great though i only did about 200miles before i saw the Tenni and partexed the centauro there didnt seem to be any flat spots ot went and sounded great. The tenni is very quiet but i get i will have to wait for the warranty to run out [2 years] before i can change anything, the xover made a big difference on the centauro is it the same with the V11. Regards Martin
