  1. You could have 3 beers each day ... then you could still have the full 24!!!! Yeah, but I'm also thinking a Kwanzaa Beer calendar and then a Beer Calendar calendar! Just to keep things on a level playing field.
  2. I am now officially working on my Rancho Loco Draedel Calendar for 8 days of high gravity fun next year!!
  3. I can only assure you I poured NOTHING on to the ground!!
  4. Home from the SSR number ?? in one piece and all rubber still pretty much in tact on the Coppa except maybe the sides of the tire. Excellent and diverse group of folks and how Docc got that Harley wedding scheduled for Saturday night at the lodge is beyond me but provided vast entertainment! Bill was missed! Next year, in commemoration, we are talking about running the coal roads in Kentucky!! XXOO Rick
  5. If Andy promises to go with the V7.... I'm all over the Eldo!!
  6. Now the delimma.... Coppa is home and happy.... Eldo is itchin for a ride... Stelvio has luggage... Hmmmm... all things after my return from Japan...
  7. This is an interesting thread....Here at Rancho Loco Pico Brewery and Flatutorium... the favorite brew is the brew dujour or du-week or du-month. Just finished, with Docc's assistance, a double imperial uber-hopped IPA (sort of a TWIN SISTERS) and a fabulous Russian Imperial Stout with a nice ABV of just over 11%. That being said... Dark Lord (Three Floyds)... Illinois (IPA) and for a session beer... Beber Oscura (Mexico Dark) OK... I'm a beer snob, but because I can be!! Rick...
  8. Geez... usually it's so little time to decide what to ride but now I have an even longer time to worry about that... Hoping the cattle will be fat enough to "send home" by September. See you guys....

    WORTH $5500

Waiting for the first ride report!!!
  10. Hi Jaap, Well,.... DUH... I finally, with assistance from a friend, did find the bottom adjusters. Thanks so much for your kind direction!! Rick
  11. Thanks Jaap for pointing me to that link. I had found that earlier but determined the manuals shown were not the same setup as the Ohlins on the Coppa. I'm hopeful that I will have a manual shortly that I will publish to this site. In the mean time, the quest continues... still looking for the suggested factory settings for Ohlins on the Coppa as recommended by Guzzi. Rick
  12. What would it take to make one more knob and sell it to a another lowly Coppa owner? Rick
  13. My "New to me" Coppa did not come with manuals and the link provided in the thread doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have the "standard" settings for the suspension so I can start somewhere and tweak? My static sags are all good but I'm trying to set compression and rebound. Thanks, Rick in Kirkland TN
  14. Even though I've been told to stay very private by my Witness Protection Program Handler , I'm sooo happy I can't contain myself so I have to quietly mention that in an undisclosed location in an undisclosed garage in middle Tennessee a new, to me, CI has landed! What a glorious ride!
  15. Great weekend and temps were "perfect" (we'll after 8:00pm when the beer tempered the heat of the day). I had a great time with those that were able to make it. I missed many of you! For those who couldn't attend you missed a Bear Riding a Motor and the fastest Ambassador 750 I've ever seen! Thanks Docc for putting together a great non-event!!! Rick
  16. Supposedly, the last room is mine (whenever Walt remembers to get my CC number) I am now trying to devise a method to pack some beer on the LeMans for the trip. Oh yeah, I think I need to start doing wrist excersizes or avail myself to some of Docc's professional healing. Or maybe ... some WNB(Why Not for Breakfast) Breakfast beer for the trip to dull the pain.
  17. Assuming there are rooms... I'll be there Docc... Come on by for oil change, valve adjust, beer, woeful belching and moaning about roofs and septic tanks, more beer, leather sofas in the brewery and more beer, loud music, more beer, scotch, more beer, total forgetfulness about any alternate tasks, more beer, louder music, gunshots, etc. or not.
  18. +2 from me including a Nekid picture of your spousal unit. (I'll send that to you for editing)...
  19. Kudos to all for a great event. Being part of the Stelvio Lightning group it just seemed appropriate to hang a left on 315 to start my homeward journey and to stop off in Dahlonega for a bottle of water. I did experience some "interesting" wind and rain event as I came across Monteagle but otherwise it was simply a joyous weekend, great crowd, lots of great food (+3 lbs when I stepped on the scales at home) and blissful weather. Thanks again for letting me tag along! Rick
  20. So last weekend I sealed the moisture detection device on the Guzzi and took it for a ride directly into the eye of a full down pour. I am happy to say the it failed to detect any extra moisture and all my instrumentation stayed active the full time!! I'm also still engineering the proper carry packaging to be able to accommodate at least 3 liters of Rancho Loco Brewery's finest HIGH TEST BEST including: Slap Me In The Face Behotch Belgian Ale California Cameltoe (Cali Ale) Pussy Galore (named after a James Bond Character, right?) Imperial Stout and lastly (Maybe) What Catherine Really Thought of Gregori Russian Imperial Stout. While it won't be truly Eye-talian like the fine Grappa that Bill will provide, at least my Brewery is located on Taliaferro Rd (Taliaferro is Eye-Talian for Iron Bender). Oh yeah, I guess I still have to prepare room for some clothing. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and to meeting the new faces that will be participating!! (Docc, I think I can retrofit the drive shaft out of my Eldo to make it work for your bike!!) Rick (aka Farmer Rick)
