  1. Aloha, I was gonna do the same thing but one of my good friends told me not to do it... Curtis from Harpers mentioned the abnoxious noise... a guy did a dyno test... 17 more horsepower with a stock air box versus after market cross over and K+N slip on. I ended up buying a K+N filter cartrigde for the stock box... only 40 something $.... runs good.... it's so funny to see MG enthusiast squeeze a few more horse power.... I am one,... got a love it,.... good luck Hardy
  2. I bought my 2000 Sport with only 2k miles on it. The previous owner installed a Power Commander to rid of "hick ups"... It got 28 miles to the gall., ... I took the Commander of and synchronized the throttles, whow what a difference, re-installed the Commander and things got even better... about 40 miles now... I feel the manual adjustment worked just fine for me... I think the message is that if your bike does not run well,or at least has no major..."hick ups" like mine... don't waste money for the Dyno tuning,... safe riding Hardy
  3. Sticky piston due to corrosion around the seal. Clean and lubricate with vaseline or the seals will get damaged... that can sometimes take a long time.... I have good results with running Dot 5, you need to flush the system. Careful on the V11 rear brake, once you get some air in you will need to bleed it several times... the nice part about Dot 5 is that it is safe in case you spill some on your paint. It cost more but even on my 70's bikes I had good results. I change it only every couple of years and no problems... good luck Hardy
