  1. SideGuzzi.pdf2002 Moto Guzzi LE MANS,Only 4711 miles on this bike. Recently serviced by Guzzi mechanic who balanced the throttle bodies, checked the valves (all within spec) and zeroed out the throttle position sensor. New battery and plugs installed in July of 2009. Bike has the following aftermarket add-ons: Custom seat, convertibars, lowered pegs (from www.motratech.com), velocity stacks with K&N filter pods, Stucchi Crossover, Powercommander, FIAMM Highway Horns (on individual relay), and sealed aftemarket relays (all of them from Motratech as well). Has had the pawl spring replaced (with newer designed spring to prevent future breakage). Bike needs nothing, tires in good shape. I have additional pictures upon request. Will assist any way I can with shipping, if needed. Selling to make more room and money for my cafe racer project. $4750 OBO. Best to contact via e-mail (Coop7073@gmail.com) for prompt response.
  2. Guys, thanks for your help. I disconnected all the battery connections, cleaned them, cleaned all the relays, the connection to the starter and the fuses and the bike started right up. Must have been either a loose connection or some corrosion. Thanks for all of your help. Mike
  3. Yes, the fuse blows after pushing the starter button and a click and pop. It is the first 15 AMP fuse in the line (front of bike to back), I believe it is the third fuse in the case. I haven't had any electrics apart recently, other than removing the negative wires on the battery when I removed the starter to access the transmission. All wires were reconnected on the starter and are nice and tight. Thanks.
  4. I have been lurking for a while on here since I got my 2002 LeMans this past spring. I have just replaced the pawl spring and buttoned everything up. I went to try and start the bike (heard the fuel pump go through it's usual noise) and just got a click and then nothing. Checked the starter fuse and it had blown. I tried a back-up 15amp fuse and got the same. Looked at all of my connections at the battery and can't see anything amiss. FYI, the battery is new and kept on a battery tender. All relays were replaced in April of this year with the ones from Motratech. I can't see any insulation missing from any wires where there could be a short, but does anyone have any ideas to try or places to look for the potential problem before I start trying to pull too many things apart? Thanks for your help. Mike
  5. I am looking to fund my current project (a 1973 CB750 that I am turning into a custom cafe racer) so I think I need to sell my Guzzi. It has ~4700 miles on her and I am the second owner. Bike is located near Hartford, CT (I would have no problem assisting in shipping the bike if needed, it really isn't too bad pricewise). It has the following accessories/modifications: Aftermarket Seat (have the original coming to me via mail) that is very comfortable Convertibars Centauro Pegs Velocity stacks with K&N filter pods Stucchi X-over Power Commander FIAMM loud highway blaster horns on separate relay New battery Motratech Relays (all replaced as soon as I purchased the bike) Recently serviced (50 miles ago) which included checking the valves, resetting the TPS, balancing the throttle bodies and a complete check over of the bike I only have the one pdf picture currently and it doesn't show the newer velocity stacks and K&N pods. I will try and get some more ASAP and will e-mail them. There are some scratches on the bike since it is 7 years old. You can see one on the fender in the picture and there are some other minor ones on the fairing and tail section. These are not from being dropped but riding. Bike runs well and is fun. I am looking for $5000 and I don't have a lot of room to maneuver on the price with everything I have done. If I can't find a good home for her, I will just keep her and finance my custom build another way. Thanks and contact me at michael.w.cooper@power.alstom.com. Mike LeMansPicture.pdf
  6. Looking for a set of V11 clip-ons for my 2002 LeMans. Bought the bike with a different set and would like to put it back to stock. Please send e-mail to isamike7@comcast.net or PM on here. Thanks. Mike
