  1. Read a few of the posts on here about oil pressure... hoping this is the simple problem / solution! My V11 Tenni has a pretty low idle (about 8 - 900 rpm) and on a short run often needs a bit of choke to run. I also found that the bike would stall as I came up to a stop light. The oil pressure light would flicker at the same time. A couple of weeks ago, I had been out for a ride and the oil pressure light came on. It didn't flicker this time, but stayed on so I was thinking all sorts of impending disaster. Anyway I give it a handful and the light goes out. Soon as I take the throttle off, its goes on again... and so on etc. I checked the oil when I got in and stuck in about two litres. I have only had the bike a few months and have covered about 800 miles or so. The bike seemed to ride a lot better as a result. All's been good until this weekend. Did about 150 miles on the bike and I got the same thing (cutting out at a stop, although no flickering light); full on oil pressure light at idle, which went out when I revved it. I cant imagine the bikes using that much oil, its certainly not burning any, so is it: A - Faulty oil pressure sender B - idle needs turning up a bit C - something else Any suggestions welcome!
  2. update to the thread... I lucked on to a local guy who has made up some bar ends for me in stainless... probably best to describe these as prototypes as the original plan of mounting them on the the bar insert was compromised by needing to refit the O ring and cotter pin. This has left more of the insert showing than we would have preferred, but know we know this any more we get made would sit up to the grip. There's no way of nipping up the allen bolt unless the cotter pin stays in situ. hopefully will attach a pic, but if that fails can email one over to anyone thats interested. cost compares well with throttlemeisters, particularly when there's no VAT or shipping to pay...
  3. Steffen... Thanks for this... will check this out also. Had a look at the Salamander website yesterday... Only downside is that they're in the US, but I guess they would ship to UK.... Seeing someone local to me about an issue with my throttle on Sunday. He builds Harley powered Cafe Racers (hogbitz), so i'm going to speak to him also about the possibility of machining some for me.. Thanks for the posts / recommendations so far!
  4. thanks for the info.... off to google em!

that's good going... the guys at moto strada had just sold another tenni with 25K on it before I got mine, so guess they're up to the mileage... haven't researched any hop up parts yet... is there anywhere in the uk you recommend?
