  2. Give it some time (several months) and check again. My V11 had a bubble on the lower right knee cut out and gradually it healed itself. Just like an evangelist. -Topher

    V11 Sport with Alpina Wheels

New add on my green V11, thanks to advice from V11Lemans.com. Alpina Ergal anodized rims with one piece CNC milled hubs. Went up from 4.5 to 5.5 inches on the back. Originally on a V11 show bike at the 2010 Milan show.
  4. Thanks for the input, mates. So Slavomir, to confirm--your 190/50s are on a 5.5" rim? I dunno. I like the way my green ghost goes into the corners, and don't want to muck it up.
  5. I'm thinking about buying a pair of Alpina spoked wheels for my 2001 V11: http://tinyurl.com/yht89kw. Does anyone know if I can go up a size and run a wider tire, and if so, do I need a wider rim (and will it clear the swingarm and other bits)? Stock size is 170/60ZR-17. I found these shots of a V11 with an Alpina rim:http://tinyurl.com/yzgdmqk Can't quite make it out but it appears its a Metzler M1 180/55. thanks for your help
