  2. I had the same vibration issue with my 2000 v11 and was told these bikes arnt run in or settled down till they have done about 20oooks.This proved to be right as the more ks I put on this bike it has significatly. improved .So theres only one way to fix the problem,GET RIDING.
  3. Found one at @#$$#! Smiths eventhough the experts at the counter said they dont have them.Slightly different as KiwiRoy says, but does the job.
  4. Ive had a simular problem and have had the relay base conections replaced which has solved the problem.although the conections apeared to be fine on inspection. It would worth getting them checked as its not a rear ocurence and its an easy fix.
  5. Roy,recently had problems with the relay for the fuel pump, motor stopping and missing.Got my auto electrion to replace the conecters for that relay and solved the problem.
  6. Had a near identical problem with my v11.Got it to my auto elictrionan and found that the conectors in the relay blocks to be all faulty.Renewed them,PROBLEM SOLVED.
  7. This is exactly the same problem as i am having, will try your fix in the weekend.Cheers.
  8. Can anybody tell me who manufactuers v11 indicator lenes, and also allternative part numders,ie buell ducatti etc.
  9. GuzziMoto, this is the rear relay.Found today that by pushing the relay towards the frame the relay wont activate,so i presume that its breaking contact with the block it pushs into.So with the seat on this is the problem. But if it is breaking contact constanctly would this cause the relay to heat up to a degree were it fails to operate until it has cooled some
  10. Hi,I own a 1999 v11 with only 16000ks on the clock.Out riding last weekend this also coughed spluttered to a stop.I found the relay that operates the fuel pump to be that hot i could hardly hold onto it to remove.I replaced it with a identical spare fired up and run until the problem repeated itself.Pump fuse unblown. This problem seems simular, what gives.
