well, i tried the Givi site and if this is one of theirs it isn't available now. i didn't crack it up so i could probably just have it repainted.

Low-sided in the rain the other day and scuffed up some painted parts. This one might have been after-market. I bought her used and mostly thought she was stock, but the mirrors are Rizoma and the hand levers are CRG. Harper's didn't have this part listed in black with red. Is it actually unusual? has anyone seen anything like it?

I'll be calling in a couple of days for some parts. I guess I'll be giving my condolences then, too.

the pump primes, but no sound from the starter. after she cools it's a completely normal start.

My '04 exhibits this behavior as well. a ride across town with traffic conditions that let her heat up seems to be the conditions that brings on the bitchiness. If she has time to cool off there's no problem, but a fast errand where she is only parked for a few minutes results in an unresponsive starter. I haven't learned the hotwire trick yet. We just went through the pawl arm spring issue but she is otherwise bone stock and all original parts. since heat seems to be the issue, is there something that might be happier located elsewhere?

I just replaced one of my roll-a-click levers and had to email CRG directly because nobody lists them in their application charts and evidently the kind I have are discontinued. The reply came from mark@crgmoto.com and he said they still have stock and he sent me one. the part number on the invoice is AB_511B-T-B and cost 49.95.
