Joe, looking at Ghezzi Brian’s website they don’t list any prices, therefore I assume everything is POA and you have to reach out for a quotation by email ? I like the look of that carbon belly pan for my burgundy “grape ape” V11
I've ordered from Bruno. Nice guy. His prices though not listed are for the most part pretty fair (even more fair if you can avoid paying VAT but that's beside the point). With me he used pretty fast shipping too. From Italy to California in just over a week. His kits for all being made by hand are very fair.

So what's the progress on these carbon seat cowls? Would be a great addition to my Scura.

When my V11 isn't misfiring, yes! lol
The cough? Change out the rubbers and synch the throttlebodies.

Why a Guzzi? Why a V11?
Well, I have enjoyed Ducati v-twins for several years, and wanted something different, European, but air-cooled.
I have always admired the style of the V11 Sport/LeMans, but they were even more rare than Ducatis.
I began researching V11 Sports here, and after a couple months, I set aside a sum of money and started my search. I searched for a motorcycle I had never rode, sat on, even seen in person! I put a lot of faith in having a V11 and enjoying it.
Well, I found one posted on eBay, and placed a bid, and lost. The seller reached out saying it would go for less if we skipped the eBay seller's fees. So, for $5500.00, plus $650.00 shipped to my Guzzi dealer, I had my bike after a month.
$2k for seals, tires, tune-up, and other maint., and she was ready to ride...and for winter storage.
Just last week, I finally got to fill her with 93 and take her out, and I wasn't let down. I'm in love.
I love my Ducatis, but a big Guzzi really is something special. No regrets.
Get one...as they will never be cheaper than they are now.
If you like air cooled Ducatis you'll love Guzzis. And if you like Ducati Monsters you'll love a V11. I consider the V11 the Monster's curvier, bigger breasted flirtier cousin.

They can be real.. There was a company that made them. Pretty rare..

Apparently not a Guzzisti, as claims of scarcity apply across the board.
"Scarcity" is the buzz word of 2022.. 🤣
If he gets anywhere near 6500 for that I'll put up my Lemans for $7000. My Lemans is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay nicer than that.. And I won't say "scarce." I'll just lay receipts..

Tire threads can be like oil threads.. Beware...🤣
But in my experience 2 great tires for these bikes are Dunlop Roadsmart 2s and 3s and Michelin Pilot Road 4s. I have Roadsmart 2s on my LeMans and Pirelli Angel 2s on my Scura. I'll never buy another Pirelli sport touring tire after those. The Dunlops are bounds better. Michelins Pilot Roads are just all around good.
If it were my money Dunlops. Can't beat them for the quality to money ratio. My Dunlops are 5 years old and are still good though should and will be changed. My Pirellis gave me far too many close calls on the Scura. Especially with the snatchy clutch. Broken grip a lot. A LOT..

Congrats on the Scura. Great bikes. They're definitely a different animal from the other V11s. They sit a little higher, rev a little quicker, slightly faster. Oh, and the flywheels can explode.. 🤣 But if you bought one, you know. Chuck's was already sorted. You're good.
I'm fortunate to own one too. I love it. I need to ride it more often though. I may just pull her out today.

I've considered selling one of mine forva few years now. But these V11s... They can get sentimental rather quickly. Especially after you "sort them out" to make them the bikes they were intended to be.

My Scura's did that. Started with a cough. Thought maybe I needed a thottlebody synch but at a closer look...
It IS 20 year old rubber... Help up pretty well for be being a bike that spent its life in dry weather its entire life..

I really like what he did and his eye for details, but it looks like he had a bottomless wallet. What I really don't like is the closed swingarm. It's too bulky for my taste. And the red line on the fairing does not line up with the red line on the tank/seat piece.
But overall: hats off!I would just love the subframe , seat, and tank and just make a cool naked.. Nice bits!

I own "Have A Nice Conflict" which is a pretty good read. There were a handful of situations I was experiencing with my job as I was reading it that are in the book. The perspective was helpful.
I'll check your new one out..

The Japanese will change specifications mid-year. They are very traditional, but have few mechanical traditions. Thus, if a better part is proposed, it goes in mid-year. In Mandello del Lario, I think that parts are more like a family affair, so the bits and pieces do not change all that much. Except...
Mechanical change in Japan happens mid year. Mechanical change in the Guzzi plant? Every 25 years. 🤣🤣🤣

I stood in line for Ago's autograph back when MV was the showcase marque at Mid-Ohio's vintage days. I also demo-ed the F4 that they were releasing. The man was cool, the bike was terrific and terrifying ( mostly because of the price). I lost the autograph that same week touring on Skyline Drive when I proved the axiom that nothing is truly waterproof when riding in strong rain... I love the round headlight on this new one, but I'm sure I'll never be able to afford it.
Mid Ohio's cool. I got to make one on 08. Had a ton of fun. Got to hang out with Mark Wilsmore that weekend. Hadn't a clue who he was at first till I talked about wanting to hit the Ace Cafe . He was like: "Yeah, been there a few times.. Great English breakfasts." It was a great time.
I wish I could of met Ago... Total legend.

I just caught wind of this yesterday. Owned by Mahindra, designed in the UK, engine engineered in Austria (likely Rotax), and built in India. 45bhp(likely 35-37hp) single cylinder with a top speed of 105mph (my bet 95mph.).
Weighs like 450lbs so it's likely 90% steel and highly overengineered to be super reliable. Then they're pricing it right on par with the Enfield Interceptor.
I may get one.. I love road going thumpers..

Availability is spotty. I'm still trying to get a Scura tail decal. Harpers had one, but I've never found a second one.
I'm sure Harper's can still get them. That's where I scored mine.

The "850" on the tank decal of the V7 Special looks pox. The rest of the bike looks nice but having "850" emblazoned on the tank decal is a styling mistake in my mind. It makes it look like the graphics were designed by a scooter stylist. Leave the capacity moniker for the side cover. Maybe it was styled by the moron at Guzzi that did the 1400 tank cutouts.
Ciao
I can agree with the tank saying 850.. Kind of a bit much. Should of been more subtle.. Maybe on the V7 emblem put 850 or maybe on the bar clamp or on the guages for the occasional rider that needs to be reminded of how many CCs their bike has..

Nope. Quite easy.. MG and Harper's should readily have them. Had to change the ones on my LeMans out a while ago.

Used Guzzi parts have always been a crap shoot. Depends on demand.. Last year you could get an 02 tank for $250 in the US.. That same tank pending on color can be as high as $550. Saw a Legrano( sorry for the spelling.. The cool Guzzi green) green going for that.. Without the pad.. Will someone pay that? Demand dictates.. Im thinking close to that. Cuz it's green and in decent shape. But then a purple 03 tank will be $300.. Hard to tell.

I like it. Still oddball. Still Guzzi. I love how the exhaust exits the jugs from the bottom instead of the front. I can see why they did it but it still looks cool. But I'm waiting for a roadster/naked version.

I would say it's pricy but it's a superlight track bike with 220hp and 105ft lbs. That's almost motogp numbers for just over $100k.
