Thanks guys!
The bike has 31XXX miles, that means that the quirks have been addressed.
The bike has two new tires, battery, the belts were changed and valves adjusted 200 miles ago.

After a 7 year search I found One!
The only thing is that it was located e few states away.
Talked to the owner and it could not have been a better gentleman.
He held the bike for me for 3 plus weeks until I had the time to go down to North Caroline.
I reserved a Nissan Frontier and when I showed up this was waiting for me, of well
Left Portland Maine at 8am arrived in Charlotte NC at 1am
The next morning I show up to see the bike and this is what greets me, I started to feel good about my chances of buying the bike.
Glenn had a thing for the obscure, a Norton Commando 850 and Volvo P1800 plus the Centauro.
After looking over the bike Glenn took me on a 45 minute ride on the beautiful back roads and I knew I was taking the bike home.
Talked to Glenn a bit more, the bike came with many spare parts and I found out that the first owner raced it occasionally
Loaded the bike on the truck and on my way back home I went with a huge fucking grin on my face.
I believe this conversation occurred
V11 -- Who the f#ck are you?
Centauro -- ..............
V11 -- Just fucking with you. Welcome to the stable.
Centauro -- Cool, thanks I was nervous there for a sec.
V11 -- Nah it's all cool. Just watch out for that asshole (me) he is handsy
The Extras
Glad to see the canisters removed and I can only imagine that the flywheel in the bike is special
on the operating table just having a check up
Nice catch can for the breather tube
Switched the exhaust to the Mistral's much better sound.
Cool safety wire on the caliper
Took it for a 2 hour maiden voyage very happy with it.
This what I have planed for it in the future
The four specimens I love.
Thanks

Great idea!
I need one for one of these, if acceptable.

On the operating table for its annual check up.
Had a problem with my headlight. Has this happened to anyone else?
So time for an upgrade. Bought the kit from Guzzi Tech. Ran into the same problem as Scud.
Here what i came up with.
Sealed afterwards.
My odometer had stopped before I bought the Bike working so I bought a SpeedHut gauge.
But I got a great deal for a KMH version from member Zoro (great seller) so I went that route and keeping the SH for another project.
Lets see how long this ITI lasts
And now something stupid
Tranny Flush
Valve Adjustment
Throttle Balance
Greasing Driveshaft
In the upcoming days.

Spent an embarrassingly long time trying to figure out where the cross brace on the HB attaches to the frame. Still not sure what direction it needs to "point", guess there's a 50-50 chance I'll be right the first time. Thought I'd never get one of the pipes between the cross-over and Ti can to loosen. Amazed me what a few drops of 3 in 1 oil and a few gentle mallet taps did. Went from not budging to sliding right off in a minute or so. Note to self: don't forget the anti-seize!
If you need pictures for the HB rack let me know.

Rode the shit out of it for a couple of hours in not so good weather but I need it the relaxation.

I went with the mechanical gauge, call me old school
Tapped the oil line that feeds the heads with a double banjo.
The location of the gauge in the lower fairing on the LeMans was an easy choice for me as the previous owner had a drilled a hole for a non existent switch.
Here are some pictures of the parts and such.
I do like to know that I have oil flow and what it is.
Hope that helps.

You can take a look at page 4 here.
Scud hooked one up to his LeMans.

If you want to go the mechanical way you can get a double banjo and tap into the double oil line that oils the heads.
The only guy in the US that has it is here (The banjo bolt that is)

Hope that helps.

2003 Sport 5100 miles $5900 now that is a price that you can start negotiating a bit

What weight oil are you using - and is it organic, or synthetic?
Royal Purple Max-Cycle 20-50 synthetic

Hello Scud,
I went the mechanical route with the pressure gauge.
The gauge gets the pressure reading from the oil route to the heads.
I had to source a double banjo and hooked up the oil line from there.

you can see the set up in this topic.
I chose the location of the gauge on the in the fairing because the previous owner had installed a switch there.
On start up i get anywhere from 5-30 psi
then on idle 100 rpms around 20 psi
around 3000 rpms around 60
then above 3000 rpms anywhere between 60 - 80 psi
I chose the mechanical way because I wanted a second system to the electronic one.
Plus if I could everything would be mechanical.
Hope this helps.

Love it.
And the Bear will love you back for saving it from the sad life before you.
Great job Ken and I love the front mismatched rotors

Nice Score.
No need for backpacks anymore.
They do look like the 40 Liters
Here is a picture of 30's or maybe 35's on my bike.
Winter is messing with my mind.

I got this shipped from Europe when they weren't available here:
http://www.becker-technik.de/Central-Lifter/body_central-lifter.html
I think MG Cycle carries them.
Disadvantage: A little clunky to get it on and lift up the bike. The thing sort of clamps onto the nuts on the lower pork chops. A little practice and it takes maybe 30 seconds to get it clamped on.
Advantage: Once lifted, the bike is rock solid. You can wrench away without any fear of it slipping off or tipping. The bike and stand are effectively one piece.
Love Mine
When attaching it.
Its like a intimate dance with a overweight but yet sexy Italian.
You and your bike in a balancing act.
The first couple of times you are nervous then after a few dances you are a pro.
And sturdy as hell.
