wheelsucker Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Thinking about repainting my tank because of all the paint cracking. Its a 2003 tank, anyone else get thier tank painted, what did you pay? waspp Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 The tank is plastic and the key to a succussful job is preparation and proper aditives for flexing. any good shop should be able to get the job done as plastic is common in all autos as well. I had my 03 RC done, fairing tank and pillion cover for $625 including all materials and some plastic welding of some breaks. In my case the biggest part of the job was getting rid of all those flag decals that were clear coated, lots of work taking those off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
