Guest Petev11
Hi, I just purchased my first lemans a few days ago. I rode about 4 hours before purchasing and it had a slight sputter. Today, I jumped on and it is really popping. Anyone have any ideas/advice for me? Could it be the valves need adjusting? Gas? I filled it with high octane. The popping is coming by the air box. BRENTTODD
Start with a complet tune up valves plugs throttle bodies fuel air check the tech topics you will find how toos on all things to take care of. I just did all that on my bike with my buddy fuelcoolers help and it runs great now. I think the same will happen for you just check with the old owner to see when the last time it had a workover. I bet it was a long time ago

See if one of the air intake boots is loose. One of mine has a habit of loosening up. Idle goes up a little 1st then a few miles later pop pop pop
