Admin Jaap Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 ...a Forum God... ! "Little" Al Roethlisberger has reached the "Forum God" ranking title sometime last week after producing 1500 postings. F****ng unbelievable! Congratulations!!!
al_roethlisberger Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 heh ... or maybe "pretty sad" depending on one's perspective But most importantly, thanks for the great forum Jaap! After all, you're the real star here for providing us this resource. I don't know what I'd do without the help I've received from Paul, Mike, Carl, Todd, etc... and last but not least, yourself! My thanks to all of you, as the people make the community al
Admin Jaap Posted October 8, 2003 Author Posted October 8, 2003 heh ... or maybe "pretty sad" depending on your perspective With "your perspective" you mean your perspective I hope?
al_roethlisberger Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 heh heh... edited, changed to "one's perspective" ... Meaning, humorously I suspect some people think I have no life and just linger on the forum all day long
dlaing Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Well you guys stop posting so much so I can catch up?!?! I need a secretary to keep up with you guys. Just kidding! Keep up the GREAT WORK!
jrt Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Whaddya mean, Al? You have a life? J I'm a a puny 350 poster or so, but my excuse is that I skipped school today and got in 340 miles of riding. The leaves haven't quite turned here yet, so it's mostly drab colors. Hopefully by next week it'll be nicer. Good thing was that no-one was out on the backroads along the Mississippi River.
al_roethlisberger Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 .... sounds beautiful! I in contrast was stuck in a drab grey cube writing an technical architectural document for home VPN solutions al
al_roethlisberger Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Ahh, and while looking for another topic... if anyone cares, I found my first post Al's Introduction al
Admin Jaap Posted October 11, 2003 Author Posted October 11, 2003 That reminds me, we had Jimjib as a regular poster last year. Wonder where he is.
Paul Minnaert Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 So al, You have a wireless PDA webbrowser with you all the time? I'm to much hours at a computer each day. Working as a sysadmin for a university, and online at home too.
callison Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 Working as a sysadmin for a university, and online at home too. Hey another sysadmin type! I was one until last year and changed jobs to reduce stress (and get a pay raise). Spent the last week bolting together a small super computer though. Somewhere around a teraflop. Great fun.
Paul Minnaert Posted October 11, 2003 Posted October 11, 2003 I was one until last year and changed jobs to reduce stress (and get a pay raise). Looking for that too, but here very little to choose from, since a year IT staff here for the first time knows what unemployment is.
Guest mcloutier Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 I am the Dir. of IS for a Hospital and Clinic. I wonder how many computer geeks are riding low tech Guzzi's?
